My nickname is Phantom Angels. I localize games from English into Russian and Ukrainian. I adapt text with full context in mind, ensuring it reads naturally rather than like a machine translation.
English Level: B2
Experience: I have been translating for about 7 months. Most of my projects were done privately and cannot be included in my public portfolio.
Sample Work: Drug Dealer Simulator 2 (I created both Russian and Ukrainian localizations, screenshots available on GitHub).
Workflow:
Receive project files
File preparation (if needed)
Translation via custom Python script
First proofreading pass (error check)
Second proofreading pass (context & adaptation check)
Final quality check and delivery
I also translate and adapt subtitles, websites, Steam pages (store pages or community hubs), etc. (Full list available in my portfolio).
EXCEPTIONS: Legal documents, books, and scientific articles.

1.Не нужно упоминать политику/страны, ибо это только отталкивает (лично моё мнение, ведь в интернете большинству всё равно, откуда ты. Многим "потребителям" важны лишь 3 вещи: 1. цена, 2. качество, 3. время).
2.Если будешь писать "бесплатно/дешево", то тоже ничего не выйдет. Как один блогер говорил: "Все, кто продают себя дешево или бесплатно, это те которые плохи в своем деле, или же это школьники 10–12 лет".
3.Сейчас большая часть инди-разработчиков предпочтет ИИ, нежели нас (Локализаторов), даже бесплатно.
4.Если есть 18 лет, иди на Fiverr. Просто если ты написал правду, то у тебя средне-высокий уровень английского. Пусть и без портфолио, но клиенты найдутся через некоторое время.

For my workflow, I use my own Python script to speed things up, but I manually check and rewrite every single line so the context is right and no code tags are broken.
