We can do it in the next update, I think. Thanks for your feedback!

We won't stop until it becomes perfect enough. Here's our second update. This one is mostly about the first few days, plus one small furry addition.
An easier start
- Bro Ayhan’s opening is shorter now: the goal, your cash, and the button that tells you what to do next.
- Ayhan’s Tasks: five first steps under your fame bar. Each one is worth +5 fame. Stuck? Click a task for a hint.
- Ayhan now explains things the first time you run into them, like taxes on your first report or headlines on your phone.
- On your first evening the landlord comes for the rent. Try hemming and hawing...
- The gossip pages now warn you two days before Ayhan checks your shelves.
Clearer screens
- GrooveBase is simpler: your copy sits on top, with recent sales in its condition. Your exact pressing is always listed.
- Bin tabs in the price list now show how many new records each one holds.
- The phone opens on the news when there’s something you haven’t read.
In the shop
- New decor: a cat food bowl (€10). Some mornings a black cat comes in, eats, and curls up in the corner. Customers like it: a cat day brings more visitors and a little extra fame.
- The burglar alarm no longer hangs on the wall. It installs itself the morning it arrives.
- The CLOSED/OPEN sign and the doormat are gone. The corner button opens the shop.
Your saves from 1.1 carry over (the tasks only appear in new games). The free demo has been updated too.
Note: the title screen shows v7.7.0. That’s our internal build number; it’s the same game as Update 1.2.
Enjoy!

We've released our first update and devlog. This update includes quality-of-life and UI improvements based on actual feedbacks:
- Bro Ayhan prices his gift box for you on day one, and “Cost + %” no longer turns free records into €1 records.
- New records light up yellow in the price list until you price them, and the game asks before you open the shop with unpriced records.
- The notebook has pages now. Click to turn them. Notes are written day by day.
- The evening report sorts your day: records customers found too dear (with a one-click price fix), customers who found nothing they wanted, and what sold.
- Record stores have tabs for each bin and your cart, and you can leave anytime (the game asks if your cart isn’t empty).
- Small fixes to the Dealer Tour and the Next Day button.
The browser demo is updated too, now with its own save so it never touches your full game. Windows players can also grab the new installer (BabaRecords-Setup.exe).

Hi everyone! We have just released our first update and dev log. This update is all about smoothing out the rough spots, and your saves carry over.

- New records light up yellow in the price list until you price them, and the game asks before you open the shop with unpriced records.

The browser demo is updated too, now with its own save so it never touches your full game. Windows players can also grab the new installer (BabaRecords-Setup.exe).
Note: The start screen still says v7.6.0, our internal build number. That’s Update 1.1, so you have the latest version.
Keep the notes coming!
