I had mistakenly commented out some code that caused the bug, should be all fixed up now.

Oh wow I’m sorry about that, and so frustrating for it to happen right at the end of a run!

Looks like somehow the drop zone didn’t respect that right boundary, I’m going to look into this asap. I should be able to fix that up today.

All those relic issues should be fixed, in addition to a few more bugs I didn't even know were happening until I dug in deeper.

Yeah I found the bug, quitting and resuming would clear all your relics from inventory but the effects of them persisted, good find! Working on a fix for that now and looking for other save/load bugs. Thanks for digging in!

What else are you seeing broken? I haven't heard or seen any other issues side from other users around this yet. You're not using incognito mode by any chance are you? I'm digging in to find any issues!

Thanks for the bug report, I can't seem to find anything in the code that would make this happen.

Is it possible the bouncy balls are maybe splitting at the same time they are hitting a split peg, which would cause a bunch of bouncy balls to appear at once?

This game (and all roguelikes) definitely lean on the human brain's addiction to random numbers, and it's something I have actually questioned how much I want to lean on throughout development.

Hopefully the Meta Upgrades makes things a little more "fair" as you buy them, I know I myself prefer rogueLITES where you slowly get more powerful over time. I took a lot of inspiration from Hades I/II and other rogues for this.

Each one of your suggestions was already on my to-do list actually! 

I plan on finishing up the Upgrade Info Popup today, I'm going to add a down arrow to the ball on the the bottom of the list so that's a little more clear and I agree on needing to improve the UX for over-writing an upgrade. 

These changes should all be in today or tomorrow and you'll be notified when they are.

As far as the board orientation, I do have plans to add additional board layouts in the future as part of a larger update to increase the replayability even more, and a smaller "intro" board would be a part of that.

Hey if you want you can give the game another try, numbers should be a bit more balanced and the game should be harder than it was previously!

Give the game another try! I've done a ton of numbers balance and also added an endless mode so you can play past level 50 if you want. Cheers!

Hey thanks for the notes, definitely missed some bugs around achievements and pegs that will be fixed up in the next patch. Rock and Bouncy balls will be replaced soon too, they were an early idea that just didn't pan out and I have other buns in the oven. Cheers!

Yeah I considered that early on, I'm going for more of a Balatro approach for the round scoring, the numbers still need a whole lot of balancing too, thanks for playing!

So, it turns out that none of the meta upgrades for the rarity chances were working as intended. I fixed that, but now they are too powerful and the numbers need to be re-balanced, working on that now!

That was indeed bugged, thanks for finding that. Uploading a new build now and legendaries should be appearing as intended!

- I considered doing that with the free drops but I kind of like putting the responsibility on the player, like using discards in Balatro
- I actually had a "teleport" bucket exactly like that in an earlier build, I do still like this idea and need to get it back in
- There is an "Info" button on the side panel that has a list of all the upgrades you picked during the round, but it's a little hidden and needs work and I'm thinking of changing it to full screen, more like the summary in Hades

Excellent game, controls are so tight and you just nailed the theme.

Thought I would be clever and just spam jump to limit the track crumbling, realized quickly you accounted for that with the four tile smash on landing. Well done.
