That color pallet is incredible! I have a project for a game development course this term, and I was wondering if I could ask for the tilemap you are showing here? or the color palette you using?
Glad you liked the shader! It is a postprocessing volume that reduces the overall resolution by flooring the positions of pixels to the set pixelization scale.
Very cohesive set of mechanics that serve as a great foundation, and the grungy pixel art feels really retro! Mastering collecting the initial set of people was especially fun!
Thank you so much cat-submission-friend! It seems like our artist is being overwhelmed with compliments haha. Sorry to hear about the bugs tho, the getting stuck issue was something that the team noticed, but unfortunately a little bit too late.
As a fellow cat submission I love the artwork for this mischievous little guy that you made, and I really liked the mechanic of the exclamation mark pop up when you walked over a pickup!
Very interesting design decisions; the idea that using ammunition would reduce your size but at same time necessary to consume more things was brilliant. Also great enemy diversity ദ്ദി(• ˕ •マ.ᐟ
A very interesting platformer idea, and I love the design of the bird! Would love to see more levels built around this great mechanic of three different scales with different toolsets
Really interesting concept of the past shots queue in addition to the made to scale theme! It's interesting to slowly learn to make suboptimal plays for current holes because the decision will make sense later on.
Really like the mech/power ranger designs on a classic 2D boxing game, and it was really interesting to see different attack patterns on the enemies too!
Really satisfying game! Especially when it comes to mastering spamming the meow button as much as I can (I couldn't resist) while controlling the yarn. I tip my hat to you, from one cat pun submission to another :3
Simple, but very enjoyable game! I think it was some brilliant design to make the player number rotate around, both for improving game feel and adding some extra challenge
Really fun game all around! I especially appreciated how many mechanics you were able to explore in such a short game jam. Really hope to see more levels in the future :D
At first I didn't think I'd enjoy this game that much, however after 40 minutes I could conclude that I am more eager to see a fully fleshed out version of this game, and my I could not get the sound of rolling dies out of my head. Bravo.
