I played non-stop to a point that i was one with the game. Very cool visuals and very responsive controls. I would have loved some sort of increasing dificulty such as increasing the overall speed.

I loved tower defense games as a kid and this one brought me back to those times! Really good visuals, and calmy gameplay. Would love to see more levels.

PS: As someone who also made a grid based game for the GBA Jan, I must say that I really like how you made the base grid.

Sooo goood! I loved playing it in the train with my GBA. I liked how it became (slightly) easier when I noticed i could turn my GBA according to gravity. I would love to see it evolving into a more complete game

Very clever puzzle! At first was a bit tricky to get used to the controls but in the end it was very smooth. Maybe using L and R to rotate and A to move forward and B backwards would make it more smooth. In any case, looking forward to see more levels!

Super nice visuals! I was lacking a bit of feedback on the bullets actually doing something or just hitting the ground but i liked the game overall. The controls felt very smooth!

I see! Good catch indeed. From this one if you press UP you get to the one you mentioned. I will look into this and polish the algorithm. Thanks!

Thank you so much! Where you selecting with the D-Pad or with L/R buttons? Do you have any suggestions on how it could feel smoother or what felt tricky?

Thank you so much! I am very happy you liked it ✨ The LINK cable mode is basically the same as the local match but each player plays on its own device, nothing too fancy yet

Good morning,

My name is Pablo San Gregorio, and I am the coordinator of the Game Maker Community at Sickhouse, a cultural space for playful art in eastern Netherlands. Every month, we organize Colliders, a meetup where local developers, artists, and curious players can come together and find inspiration in the work of fellow game enthusiasts.

At each meetup, we offer a few short presentation slots for developers, players, artists, hackers, curators, or anyone else who would like to present. Topics include a playful project they are involved in, an event they attended, a tool they discovered, or a game they came across that they want to share because of what makes it special. Alongside the talks, we curate a few games within a given theme. The upcoming theme is “Propaganda”, and we would like to set up Dujanah as one of the games for people to play during the event and during regular opening hours for the rest of the month. We picked this theme to be aligned with the GOGBOT festival happening in our city during September.

Would you mind if we make your game available on site for our visitors this month? Is there a specific setup you would like for the game? Do you have a demo or exhibition build that would make it easier for different people to play?

Thank you in advance! Please let me know if you have further questions!

Best,

Pablo :^)

Thanks for playing! I am happy you enjoyed this little digital space

Juegazo! Muy bien pulido visualmente y mecanica interesante

You have the script always visible if you press start/esc

Thanks a lot!

Very fun! The mechanics were really surprising hahaha

Yeah, the camera was really hard because all the characters are sprites and with the cinemaschine standard free look camera everyone gets inside the buildings hahahah Although, with controller i think it is easier to manage the camera inside the game. All controlers are fully supported! :D

This mechanic is the most simple but also the most original i've seen on this jam! Really fun, is easy to learn, hard to be expert. You must to be quick. And the jokes really bad but i love bad jokes hahahaha i couldn't concentrate sometimes because of the jokes.

Super cool! The rewind mechanic is perfect! How did you did it? Te music fits naice and the levels are great. Congratulations!

Graet idea. Perfect feeling of calm and the mechanic is simple but effective!

Very polish game. Maybe a rewind effect going backwards would be nice.

Wow! Love the concept, very calm and relaxing! Have potential

The text is a little bit difficult to read. Althoug the graphics are really powerful! Great job

Got it! Thanks

Like the theme and the graphics are awesome! I missed some kind of feedback when the player press the correct key, or maybe i'm not so good hahahaha Rythm games are though for me

Thanks! We tested always with the gamepad controller. Do you have any suggestions about how to do a better keyboard controls? We are thinking of expand the game in the future with more levels

Great mechanic! The only problem that i see is the player hitbox, sometimes and maybe the speed, but later the game becomes harder, so the speed is nice

I like how the theme fits in the game! Very clever!

Good aproach! But maybe a little bit complicated for me since i'm not native english speaker

I like the art and the game is nice but maybe would be great a rewind time restriction.

Can't play... Windows defender doesn't let me execute it

The art was really important to us since the beginning, thanks! Although the game was initially made for GamePad Controller, that's because the camera is on those keys, it was easier than managing the mouse. 😅

Thanks! We are thinking to make more levels and maybe make the ninjas no so clumsy. It's true that one they fall to the ground is difficult to come back and rescue the hostage

12 hour per day made it possible hahaha. Although, once you have the movement with the animations everything else is using OnTriggerEnter, CompareTag and do the action. If it wasn't the time to do it... "That's not on the script! " *REWIND*

Yeah! Thanks! In the future we'll make a better tutorial. Now i've just updated the description with the controls
