Fun game! The customizable ability mechanic is really cool and creative. I wish you could continue playing after the 10 minute mark even if the enemies don't scale any higher.

Really fun game, I caught 18 fish! I love the tone shift between the normal upbeat music and the dark music when you chose what to do with the fish.

Thank you! Apparently we had similar childhoods since my own childhood of looking for pill bugs under rocks inspired this game.

Thank you! I like your rock turning idea. I'll look into adding that next time I work on the game.

I always think it's cool when menus are a part the game's world and this felt like a good time to make that kind of menu. Towards the end of the jam I thought about adding a sensitivity setting but couldn't figure out how to set up an elegant menu so I worked on sound effects instead. I probably should have just left in the scuffed menu.

Thank you!

Fun game with beautiful environments. I wish there was a sprint button so I can run around and look at the world a little easier.

I enjoyed your game a lot but I also had the dialogue issues. Normally when games have a dialogue appear letter by letter, pressing the interact button  before the text has finished appearing would cause the rest of the text to appear immediately. In this game it just skips to the next line of dialogue so its easy to skip dialogue on accident.

Cool game! Having the light level tied to the raptor appearing was a pretty cool mechanic since you basically have to scout out the level and then run in the darkness. I feel like the first few hard levels weren't as strong because they lacked that light. I do appreciate the brightness setting that lets you see in the dark and I probably wouldn't have completed hard mode without it.

Thank you! I still have a lot of ideas for this game and I'm definitely going to work on it more in the future.

Thank you! I definitely want to make a bigger version of this game with more environments and a lot more bugs to collect.

I was worried that the game was too simple and might be boring. I'm glad that you and several other people enjoyed it!

Thank you!

I'm glad you enjoyed! I like your terrarium idea. I want to make a bigger version of the game and I'm definitely going to include that.

Beat the game in 5:09:79 with 61 deaths. The game has cool mechanics and I liked the level a lot. The mechanics were introduced well and I like how they were used throughout the levels.  The game had good pacing and never felt repetitive or I like was being overwhelmed by new mechanics. Overall the game was very fun.

This isn't relevant to the actual game but it really annoys me when games claim that you have to use a controller for the best experience. To me, it just seems like the developer has a preference for controller but doesn't realize it and they just assume that keyboard is inherently worse. I've only ever had issues playing on keyboard when you can't rebind which is why I got a program to rebind keys. I also strongly disagree with your statement about playing platformers on keyboard since I've beaten every level of Celeste on a keyboard without issue and I had no issues with your game once I rebound the keys. Don't take this rant too personally. I still think your game is really good and I understand that you just want people to have the best experience possible, but this is just something that bothers me much more than it should and I can't help but complain about it.

Thank you for the feedback. I didn't originally have any plans to change the crafting system, but after thinking about your feedback, I've realized that the current system caused a lot of the balancing issues I was facing. I already have a few ideas on how to fix the issues with the current system, and I think those changes will make the overall progression much better.

Thanks. I don't have a lot of experience handling leveling systems, so I decided to make the combat easy with the right equipment just to guarantee the game was beatable for now.  I am planning to rework the stats to give the game a better difficulty progression.

Thanks for the feedback. Handling enemy/player stats is definitely something out of my comfort zone and I'm planning to try to balance the game a lot better once I have time.

Thank you for all the feedback. I had planned to put icons next to the enemy stats to indicate which is attack and which is defense and I completely forgot that I never added them. I'd really like to finish the game but it might be a few weeks before I have time to work on it more.

Cool game and movement mechanic. I beat it in a little over 20 minutes. It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do on level 18 but that's probably just because I'm a little dumb. Level 20 took me 10 minutes to beat but it was a satisfying challenge.

Thanks for the feedback! I do have some more level ideas that I want to add and I'll try to add controller support along with them.

Thanks for the feedback! I have more level ideas which I didn't have time to finish but I'm planning to add them later. As for the theme, I assumed that most people would make cats the main character, so I thought it would be a little more interesting to make cats the villain instead.

Thanks! I had some other level ideas which I didn't have time to finish for the jam but I'm planning to add them later.

Cute game and a cool idea. It has interesting levels and it was very fun.

Very fun and cute game although I wish dying just restarted the level and not the whole game cause I want to play all the levels but I'm also bad at the game.

I love the movement mechanics and how the mechanics are introduced though the levels. I got pretty close to beating the dev time but died at the very end and got a 1:05:354.

Very fun and pretty game. I find the movement very fun and I liked the challenge of the final segment but its a huge difficulty spike from the rest of the game. The 8 and a 0 in the font look really similar so it took me a while to figure out what the numbers meant. I feel like you should be able to normally jump if you're standing on the ground and the red ghost should trigger if you press jump while in the air kinda like a double jump.

Are you planning to work on the game after the jam? I would love to see more levels for this.

Fun game with a cool concept. I think the boss is bugged because after I hit it a bunch it stopped moving and attacking but it still dealt damage to me if I ran into it and it didn't seem to be able to take anymore damage.

Fun and relaxing game. I think most of the abilities are fun to strategize around but the magnet ability was kinda underwhelming.

This game stresses me out severely. 10/10.

Cute game with interesting puzzles but I wish you could just hold down a direction to walk across multiple tiles.

Very cool game. The art is really pretty and I like the level mechanics. I feel like the player should fall a little slower.

Simple game but very fun

Overall I like the game a lot. I think the concept for the game is cool and I like the art and music. Most of the sound effects are good but I hate the sound the rabbit things make. I found the camera movement in the cafe to be a little jarring and I think there should be a more clear indicator of which bean is for which drink.
