Hey Mint-Rabbit, thanks for your question, and sorry it took us a few to get back to you.

The various facets of your character should inform what your character would do, and what is possible for them. For instance, if you're playing a rebellious bad boy, you probably shouldn't roll to try to trick a teacher into thinking you're going to follow the rules and behave (even though there is nothing mechanically stopping you, and the only thing narratively stopping you is your character's self). Likewise, if you have superstrength, you can roll to punch down an adamantium wall, and don't need to roll to punch through a common masonry wall. If your power is teleportation instead, you'd have to roll for punching through drywall, and masonry is out of the question unless you have a sledgehammer and some time to kill.

It's a very light game, and the dice table produces a flat distribution. The further you get from 50/50 probabilities, the more likely it is you and the rest of the participants should just dictate the outcome that makes the most sense and tells the best story.

Hope that helps. If you have any other questions or need further clarity, we're here for you!

We are SO excited to release this 80's nostalgic trip back in time to a place where things were simple, or were they?!

You're stuck in detention, with your friends? Frenemies? Enemies? Who knows! Let's find out.

You might be superheroes, but you're still all stuck together here; possibly even thinking the same things. Break out and get what you need to get done. Is it ask Cindy to the prom? Or get Kevin a corsage? Or maybe it's time to go on that last roadtrip of your lives? Or maybe the world is ending - is detention really that important anyway?

You're a superhero in training, waiting for the call to save the world. You're also a high school senior in detention on the Saturday before graduation, but you've got more important things to do. How will you escape? Where will you go? Will you make unlikely friendships with the other seniors in super detention? Will you be the ones to save the day?

This game is a one page RPG inspired by classic 80s teen movies, secret schools for superheroes, new wave music (which is old) and retrowave music (which is newer).

The Soundtrack:No 80's game would be complete without it's own mixtape for your enjoyment.

"The Horror of Going Home" is a visual journey through a playthrough of Whispers in the Walls, a solo journaling game by Pandion Games.

Playing this game, resulted in inspiring a work of poetry & prose that speaks to the heart of darkness found when with the swirling doubts and fears of going home; the uncertainty of returning to where you belonged and how while one can never go back, one might still want to.

Life is short, and this book echoes with whispers reminding you of that fact.

Written & designed by Celyana Nightbloom of Orpheus Press.

Thank you so much! We've had great feedback and passing on your journal to a friend is super fun/interesting to build upon! I hope you have fun with it.

Regarding the video, this is a tabletop RPG (e.g. a physical game) so we don't have a video planned much like the other physical games! :)

The Were-Curse is played solo as a journaling game chronicling your experience as a Hunter who has been afflicted by a curse, and in turn has become one of the Hunted. Gameplay is centered around utilizing a Tarot deck and a six sided die, alongside prompts and a journey exploring how the curse affects you. (If you do not have a Tarot deck, instructions are included for substituting a standard deck of playing cards.)

However, in addition, the Were-Curse is a Legacy game: When you have completed your journal, you are encouraged to pass it on to a friend, and invite them to continue the story with a journal of their own. Sections referring to ‘a journal recovered from your latest quarry’ are intended for use by those who have received a completed journal from a friend before beginning to play. This will let you build upon the journey of others. However, if you are beginning without such a boon, use the ‘If you have NOT recovered a journal’ sections instead.

We have opened up the discussion boards on our store page. Feel free to use them to find a writing partner, or to share your journals directly so that others can continue your Legacy.

The Hunter has become the Hunted, and their days are numbered. Make the most of the time you have, and leave your Legacy for those who follow.

Don't ask me what led us to do this - a love of fighting games and a need to express ourselves with bright, colorful, fighting game-fueled graphic layout.  While the Venn diagram of fighting games + journaling games target market might be a tad small, we're in there! And if we're in there, then we're going to release this silly thing.

There are tens of thousands of fighting game players. There are many journaling solo RPG players. Are you the person who's both? Oh, well, do you know them? Here, actually, just download this and if you see them you can give it to them. Thanks, buddy.

World Fighter Champion is a solo journaling rpg about fighting games and whether you can become the greatest fighter in the world. It might be slightly tongue-in-cheek, but it is full of a love of fighting games and journaling games rolled into one. Embody the greatest champion ever to exist and don't blame us if it leads you to get songs about tigers stuck in your head.

Doesn't include: The ability to play fighting games (don't worry, I'm not great either)

Content warning: This game contains fighting, fighting games, profanity, and bad attempts at humor.

Thank you, Nelson!! Such kind words, we appreciate it :)

Just released!!

Apostle of the Forgotten Gods is a solo journaling game about pursuing the unthinkable and reaching your ultimate goal.

You have spent months or years reading obscure tomes and uncovering the secret truths buried therein. You’ve seen the signs and read the stars, and you know the time is nigh.

A number of sites must be prepared and rituals performed to open the way for the object of your worship. You are a person of limited means and finite skills, but you know what must be done and will brook no argument, not even with yourself. You will take shelter where you can, and live rough where you cannot.

Come and journal your journey into the darkness and beyond. Click here to support us.

Nelson, thank you so much for the kind words!! To be honest, I'm a brand new artist - I started drawing/painting about 8 weeks ago just for this project.  I know that might seem crazy but for some reason I was capable of this art and hopefully I can continue to improve and be capable of even more! Super appreciate the compliment because it means hopefully I did well enough :) I used photoshop for all the artwork!

We're proud of this idea and can't wait for people to play it :)

Our first adventure is out now for 5E - we're so excited to share it with you all!

After an experiment with a teapot goes wrong, a wizard's tower rolls through the forest, crushing all beneath it. Its owner, Manthrak the Meticulous wants it back. It's up to you and your companions to stop the tower's rampage before something even worse happens.

Manthrak’s Malicious Steamroller is a short, high-octane one-shot adventure module for a party of four or five 4th level characters. With no setting specific details, it can be easily dropped into any campaign, or run on by itself for an action-packed escapade.

We did it!! We finished our adventure and created our new indie publishing company called "Orpheus Press" :) We wanted to create an adventure that was for a REALLY unique scenario (a constantly moving tower with crazy magics, anyone? a tower moving on its side!!) and I wanted to learn how to do art - so I dived into the deep end and made what I think is an amazing front cover for the first ever big art/front cover I've ever done.
