Thank you for playing, yes I will let folks know when the game is updated. In the mean time if you want to take a look at the walkthrough I made for the game, you can take a look at it here (or you can also wait to play it yourself after the patch :))).

Hi, thank you for playing the game and for the feedback. I think changing the color of the filled bar made a lot of sense. About the cat, the path was initially open, but since a few later task required the fishing task to be finish for the story to play out correctly, and I thought the player might skip the fishing area, I decided to just placed something cute there. It was kinda a lazy solution but I ran out of time so I had to get some there. If you are still interested, you can watch the cutscene after setting the lantern go here:
Since I didn't have enough time to hammer down the bugs and conduct more rigorous playtesting, there are some bugs you probably should know about before playing. I will keep this list updated .
KNOWN BUG LIST:
- Please interact with the lantern twice, if you don't and try to go to campsite first then it might stop you from progressing the story. I honestly don't why this happens.
- Interact when moving make it looks funny.
- After climbing, you might need to walk away for a good distance then come back.
Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you can enjoy the game despite my oopsies.
I like the concept a lot, very fun puzzle game even though I am not the biggest fan of counting seconds. I also thought seconds should be rename to turns or moves. The art gave off a flash game feel which I think is great. I love the use of vignette effect and Godot lighting, this is the first game I saw using them. Nice game, very fun.
I love the art of this game, especially the use of color palettes and the contrast of elements of the game. Character looks great and the mechanic is fun as well. However, I was able to cheese the final fight with no item because I switched to clicked the mouse with multiple finger. Interesting concept and beautiful game.
It is a crime to see this game not getting the recognition it deserves, one of the most polished game I have played in this jam. The art is well done, the songs are beautiful and most importantly the control is really satisfying to play with. I am not sure if this is your first platformer or not but it does gave off a vibe of someone who knows the genre really well. Also, cherry on top, I think the tutorial section of the game is intuitive and opening narrative sequence is intriguing. Definitely one of my favorite game for the jam. I will try to finish it later but I suck at platformer lol.
I think this is a nice game. I like the combat system and the voice over is a nice touch. The artist spent a lot of effort on the arts and it shows. However I think there could be a few improvement. I think limiting the color palette more would make it looks way better and lowering details in the background could allow the subjects to stand out more. I think this game would also benefit a lot from exploring the in engine lighting system. Other than that, the sounds effects is really satisfying and I think the concept is really fun. Great Game, you guys did a nice job!
Sick thumbnail and cool game! As the other comments had said, I think first boss is difficult. Something about the disk, saw? flying around randomly is really difficult to dodge. I also think you had very cool concept and everything from boss design to environment design compliment it very well. Great job!
This game have such a creative use of the theme, despite that, it feels so intuitive to learn. That complimented by such well design mechanic. The overal feel is beautiful and harmoniously done, everything feels like it belongs in same game, same concept. The boss are also well designed, I love details like the transition to the menu screen too. Love it!
I love the overal design of this game. I love the feel of the environment and the concepts of each boss is really cool, even to the tiny details like the quit button being called "Sleep". I also love that intro of the second boss a lot. I think the strongest point of this game is the music, they convey the intensity of the environment and boss fights really well. The art are also amazing as well.
I do have a few criticism though. I think the sound effects are lacking, it doesn't complement the impact of attacks or feel of the environment very well, I also think this game would benefit from a few ambience noises. While I do think the concept of each bosses are very well done, the telegraphing part of each attacks and range of attacks could be adjusted a little bit more, for example, the dancer spinning move could have a much shorter range of attack so that it would be easier to dodge.
Amazing game, keep it up!
This is really cool. I love the concept and the playing is really fun too. I think there should be a bit more feedback when the player take damage, for example some sound effects would be great to notify the player that they got hit. I think this game would also benefit a lot from camera shakes and an impact/freeze frame too. Overall good job!
Amazing Game! I love the tactile feeling of the gun, the level feels really fun. I love the songs and the art too. Very detailed and looks great. Although I think that Workshop level's enemies and elf placement are a little unfair. Some of the elfs keep running into the bullets from the enemies. The other levels I think are great but maybe a little easy compared to the Workshop. I also thought throwing the coco cup was a little underwhelming due to the lack of SFX.
