Well, at least it seems pressure has helped, given the recent announcement of itch looking for new payment processors. I am sure once one site finds a good processor, many sites may adopt it. Hopefully this resolves all the chaos, though does still leave a stain on both steam and itch for initially faltering.

It is at least somewhat understandable. Reading a lot into it, kind of gets people very heated on. Just kind of depressing is all. It is not like I make anything that got flagged, but seems be a very wide net. Hopefully one day it gets corrected or a positive ending. Just frustrating for a lot of people, and I am sure it frustrates Itch themselves too. I am guessing they did it to save majority of the site and content. Just sad that some processors and a small group get to have so much power in a realm they probably have no stake in you know? Sorry if came off aggressive, but just bad news after bad news this year kind of stacks up. I apologize for that.
You know, harming the creators that give your site content to sell, never ends well, right?
If anything, you would be chasing away , as far as I could tell from before, a large chunk of creators of those games(which means lost revenue for you as the host).
Hopefully you revert your decision, otherwise it sounds like many will look for a new home. That is why Unity reverted their cost decisions, the fallout of users and studios that they otherwise would have kept.
