We have read the official “Getting indexed on Search & Browse” documentation and the “Unofficial search and indexing FAQ”.
Why we believe our project should be indexed:
- This is our second asset pack on itch.io. Our first asset pack was indexed without any issues.
- The project has been carefully polished with cover, banner, background, GIF, screenshots, devlog, etc.
- The project page includes 1 embedded HTML demo and 3 downloadable ZIP files containing our asset demo (for Windows) and asset resources
- The project is published and set to Public visibility
- It’s not under any restricted Public access settings
Given all this, it seems like there may be an issue preventing our project from being indexed. Could you please take a look on your end and let us know if there’s anything else we need to address?
In addition, may we ask, is this a project problem or an account problem? We have browsed the “Most Recent” and noticed there are a lot of projects getting indexed almost immediately, even if they’re the first project of the owner.
