Klidně napište, co vás vyděsilo :O

Hello! I'm bringing you a big new update that makes adjustments throughout the game based on feedback and self-testing, including critical fixes in the last part of the game and a lightened difficulty. I'm also bringing new Steam achievements, secret cheats waiting to be discovered, new house interactions, and lots of other little life quality changes.

Become the conscience of a psychopathic serial killer in the most bizarre point&click; adventure ever created. Gameplay should be understood as a disparate whole of the "psychopathic mind". A mind that changes the rules of the game, level design, controls, gameplay and various limitations that also the Whisperer, main game's enemy, can influence by his actions.

Got a Demo available on my itch.io page, sure check it out! Of course got a full release now on discount on Steam.

Main Madness"

  • Last Checkpoint" has undergone a thorough review and check. In a couple of cases, it was not possible to properly return to previous parts of the game. Fixed.
  • Clickteam Fusion probably has a problem with the Steamworks object cooperation, which sometimes fails to save the necessary data for the game progress. Beta fixed.
  • When a player is obsessed with the inner voice in an endless loop, sometimes after a long time it becomes impossible to leave it at all. Fixed.
  • The player's inner voice in an endless loop is longer and more variable. With new takes, breaks etc. Added new interaction to different parts of the house. Will be adding more in future updates.
  • The key to the chest in the attic will not disappear when unlocked. Fixed.
  • At the end of the second act, if the player abruptly quits the game, the game will save incorrectly and lose tens of minutes. Fixed.
  • Movement transition between Act 1 and Act 2 in Subconscious Cities is 25% faster. With transitions turned off in game settings, up to 50%.
  • End of Act 3 - Persecution. Background is brighter and transitions between movements faster.
  • The shotgun sequence in Act 4 is much easier for Gamepad and Regular Difficulty.
  • The bloodlust effect is reduced in Act 4 (the effect of the Whisperer's influence). It was activated, though there was no reason for it. Fixed.
  • The entire bossfight is easier in certain parameters for Regular Difficulty. If the player was groping, now there is no need!
  • Act 5 - Bossfight Phase 2, right click on the mouse button and the player is taken to the Gameplay Showreel. Fixed. Stupid bug.
  • Unlikely bug after bossfight appears in game data. The player can reach the end of the game without it being the right way to do so. Fixed.
  • Towards the end of the game, a "Steamworks object" warning could appear, which was annoying. Fixed.
  • For the final cutscene of the game, the movement/black screen could stutter and there was nothing to do but turn the game off. Fixed.

Menu, Other

  • Screen shakes for a dramatic experience are less intense in the game. Well getting a seizure while playing is not a good gaming experience I suppose.
  • Added a new option to the menu - Transitions OFF/ON. Ability to have no transitions into and out of darkness in the main game area, and in the Subconscious.
  • Added 7 new Steam achievements, related to fighting with yourself in the last chapter of the game.
  • Game Difficulty option - individual difficulty levels are slightly overwritten.
  • The text in Gore mode is somewhere more clear.
  • The information skull in the menu also contains a tooltip for Level Select in the game settings. New secret cheats added to Extras.

Thank you very much for all the insights! With each update, the game becomes the masterpiece I wanted to present at release. If you find any bugs or have any comments or anything, feel free to contact me here in the discussions or other social platforms. Since then, ahoj!

Demo available on my itch.io page, or I've got a full release now on Steam.

Do you want to become a serial killer in this point & click adventure game? Well you're more than welcome to check the final release day for the game in September 2023. Other than that, I've created a new trailer, refreshed the game's page on Steam and itch.io with new screenshots and features stuff, and updated the game's demo.

Adventure game?! A serial killer?!

The player will follow a serial killer through the eyes of his own conscience. He will become a spectator to his horrific acts of murder and loss of control. You are also confronted with different perceptions and interpretations of the killer's inner world, but he is struggling to understand what is happening around him. You, as the conscience, will have a limited area of control at first, but due to the "right" choices you may (or may not!) make, you will be much freer.

There are three character roles - the consciencethe serial killer character and the inner voice, ie. The Whisperer. Each role will in its own way control the game - its mechanics, the main character's actions and direction in the story going forward, while also uncovering specific memories and traumas. The Whisperer is the killer's manipulator.

The main purpose is to force the serial killer to self-realization of doing evil. With the help of various subconscious puzzles, environments with the search for various objects, fragments of memories that represent specific motives in his life. Thus defeating the Whisperer.

  • Gametime over 5 hours.
  • I offer plenty of alternate endings, however, it all boils down to a single game ending.
  • Minor side paths to solve specific segments of the game.
  • Certain game segments can even be skipped at the cost of harder gameplay difficulty.
  • Bonus content in the game settings will offer other interesting tidbits and trivia to add variety (Cheats, Score...)
  • The game contains violent scenes, murder and suicide themes, dead bodies and light nudity.
  • All in English and Czech language.

The time is slightly distant, although, to be honest, the game is almost done. This is mainly due to marketing the game over the summer, and of course various bug fixes and adding small details and such. Speaking of the author's diary, what am I missing from the game at the moment?

  • Clearer in-game help. I know how to do it, in what way. I'm on it now.
  • Improved orientation in space. It's a pressing issue that's difficult to resolve, but I want to tackle it.
  • Lots of fixes from feedback I'm getting in many ways. I'm sure I'd elaborate it more specific many times over in later updates!
  • Minor details - in-game scores (bizarre, I know), alternate paths and more extensive in-game interaction, different menu options, more cheats and integration with Steam achievements.
  • New better demo!

Not much in the end result and the time ahead is very sufficient! I want to interact with you on many levels and communicate many insights, decisions and so on from my position as an indie developer. Feel free to feel free to ask anything!

Steampage and itch.io links for more stuff to see!

For now, that's all from me. Thank you very much for your attention, ahoj!

(1 edit)

It's fun to have a three members team from three no-english countries and argue whose sentences has no mistakes. :D As our two amazing artists were creating all the graphics and characters, I was myself in position make everything functional! Altrough it was the hell of an experience and very thank you for your kind comment and also a video.  Wish you a nice day!
