There was no way to heal unless you count taking less damage when you’re bigger. For the post jam version, I definitely want to add some health things and maybe power ups. Glad you liked the style :)

Thank you! Yeah, we plan on finishing up some stuff and adding a bunch of polish after the jam. Check the description on the itch page for a full list of stuff we plan to add

Nope, everything except for the animation of the fire is made by us

Interesting concepts and I liked the level design too! The game could use some polish but it's a great start. Check out my game too if you're interested

Pretty fun game, I especially like that you can build up a lot of momentum then rocket jump off of the red bullets to go really fast. The level was quite well designed. I also liked how the robot's arm actually rotated around their elbow, it was a nice little touch. Check out my game too if you're interested :)

The art is really well done! Sadly, I ran into an issue that my game crashed after about a minute. You should definitely polish it up some and I'll check it out again in the future. Check out my game too if you're interested

Really fun game and the art and meme are great. It also feels very polished, so congrats to the whole team! The only problem I ran into was that in one spot the camera would zoom in way too much, which made it hard to see where I was going, but other than that, super good game. If you're interested, check out my game too :)

The dash jump mechanic was pretty interesting, and it definitely has a lot of speedrun potential. I also liked the polish you added to the character's animations and particles, very solid game overall. Check out mine too if you're interested

No worries lol, I appreciate the feedback

Thank you for playing! I completely get where you’re coming from with all of your points. It isn’t explained at all in the game, but the thing that made tires and wind feel inconsistent to you was that the amount of height you get from them changes depending on if you’re holding jump or not. By holding it after bouncing/leaving wind, you get way more height than if you let go. Again, thanks for playing and taking to time to write that

The game feels very polished for how fast you made it! The art is also pretty nice. Good work and check out my game too if you're interested

The art here is an easy 5/5, super well done. Sadly the game is pretty buggy atm, but I am interested to see what you all do with this game post jam, if you plan on polishing it and fixing bugs. If you're interested, check out my game too :)

Really well done for the time frame and especially for being made in scratch! I saw another game of someone who had almost the exact same take on the theme, but this version is by far the better one. It's way more polished and the art and movement mechanics feel a lot better, so congrats :). If you're interested, check out my game too btw

Very interesting take on the theme and game concept as a whole. It sorta reminds me of those minigames in Mario Odyssey where you have to walk in a certain shape. Pretty cool overall, also try out my game if you're interested :)

Goofy arcade style game, pretty cool. Check out my game too if you wanna

Very impressive and polished game for how fast you made it. The level design is pretty nice, particularly driving through the sandy mountains At the start of a run. The engine sound is pretty well done too. :) Check out my game if you're interested btw

This game is by far one of the most polished things I've played so far this jam. The art and sound especially are really well done, are they all original? If they are, great work, and I gave you one of the highest scores I've given out so far. Also, check out my game if you're interested

Sadly your game crashed for me so I wasn't able to play it, but try out my game if you're interested :)

You've got an interesting start of a project. I'm curious to know where you wanted to go with it? Also, try out my game if you're interested

I really liked your original take on the theme, which was so much better than all of the generic implementations of it that other people used. The cutscene graphics are also nice. Check out my game if you're interested :)

Swinging feels nice and the graphics are good, though I'm sorta confused why grapple distance is a setting you can change? Check out my game if you're interested

The sound effect and icon for hitting an enemy is super satisfying, and I like the art a lot too, it feels very polished. Only critique is that I felt like I moved too fast and jumped too high, though that might have been intentional. Nice game tho

Thank you! And yup, literally everything except for the fire animation and sfx is made by us (including all the music). Thank you for playing and rating

The art and trailer are very well done, though the physics do feel pretty janky. Also, you forgot to make the background music loop. My game is also a platformer, you should try it out if interested :)

One of my favorites so far. The art and movement are nice, and the gameplay is pretty fun too

Fluid physics and fun level design!

At the start, I couldn't tell that I was moving. You should definitely add some sort of texture to it to make it clearer

Wasn't really sure how the game worked to be honest, but the bunny art is funny lol

Very nice doom/retro shooter inspired graphics. The water floors are also a lot of fun

The art is really nice. You should definitely keep working on this, especially to polish up the physics a bit. Atm they're very janky, but with some reworking, this game would feel very good!

I liked the sfx and visuals a lot! The ground does feel a bit too sticky in my opinion, if that makes sense though. Maybe significantly lower ground friction while the player is shooting?

Fun game. The graphics could definitely use some work but the movement felt controllable and pretty good.
Also I think you should move the heat meter to be over/next to the player so that they can much more easily focus on that and the gameplay at the same time

The throw mechanics are fun and the simple but clean graphics are also nice

Very difficult, but the visual style is nice!

Super creative mechanics that seem great for speedrunning! The art was really nice too. My only critique is that the theme connection seemed fairly weak. Was overheating just a on timer, or was something causing it that I was missing?

Fun take on the theme! More minigames would be fun

I really liked all the minigames, it was very exciting, The art was also nice, though the game could use more sound effects imo

The game was pretty funny. My only complaint is that it was way too difficult to interact with things

Super creative and I liked the theme implementation, though I wasn't really sure how it worked
