I really like the premise of this game and had fun playing it! I survived 4:45min, dying to the flower monster. I thought I could dodge the flower monster by hiding behind the desk, and quickly found out that was not the case haha.
I like that the game got more challenging with time, but it was easy to understand what you needed to do.
One thing I struggled with was in the engine room, when putting out fires, I would lose a lot of health. That is because you move with the mouse, so it was pushing me forward when trying to put out the fire. Perhaps keyboard controls could help.
Really good job!

This game has put a smile on my face. Super well done for this being your first game, and submitting it to a game-jam as a solo dev! I love the art style, it has a charm to it, and the outro credits/scene are cute.
The game overall is very intuitive, I would suggest perhaps the speed/height of flapping your wings up to be a little higher? But the way that it is also poses a nice challenge.
Great job :)
I like the cover art and the art in the game. It brings back nostalgia! I think you have potential to expand the game in the future.
For me, the camera movement makes me a little nauseous. I also think that adding a bit more story to the beginning of the game would make the player be more engaged and encouraged to find their remains. I would also suggest adding a challenge such as a timer or being chased by an enemy etc.
I played the game a few times and only once I got "Gift of Life", and other times it took me back to the menu. Did I do something wrong in the other playthroughs?
The hand-drawn art style is gorgeous!! I like that sometimes the customers give the player creative freedom of creating a dish. It is a cosy game that is relaxing without being too challenging, as from what I saw there wasn't an order goal (# of completed) to be met, per day.
I would suggest changing the sound effect when you use the knife to bring the dish together. The sound right now is a little unpleasant and doesn't fit the cosiness of the game. Perhaps a light chopping sound could help. Overall bringing in more sound effects would be nice!
For me, the full screen made some of the text be on top of each other.
Great job!
I love the twist of mechanics going wrong and the robot warning you of it so that you can prepare! It's a fun game with room to expand on. For example, sometimes it was a little hard for me to distinguish an asteroid from the background, and would die unexpectedly. So perhaps a little more contrast and a full screen option could help. It could also be nice to add upgrades in between stages, like faster shield regeneration. I got unlucky and got an asteroid storm two times in a row, but since my shield was on cooldown, I lost immediately. It could also be a skill issue on my part haha.
Good job!
Very fun and addictive! It is challenging so you definitely need to visit the funky Shopkeep. I could not beat the slimy potato :( It could be nice to have a secondary attack of some sort to vary the sort of damage you can do as a weapon.
The retro style really suits the game. Overall, there's potential to expand with even more avatars to posses!
