Really fun, simple yet addictive. The screen dimensions make me think it could make a great mobile game. Good job!

Cool game. Haven't played much of these types of games, and like others, it took me a little to understand the mechanics. But it was cool and enjoyable! The constant duality was clear to me, but the use of the big theme was harder to realize. Good job overall!

Thank you! Yeah, I will work on balancing the hp and enemy damage a bit more. Ty for playing!

Thanks for your comment. You're right. The tongue is definitely something I'll have to fix. Thank you for playing

Haha good to know. Maybe my partner and I can optimize for mobile at a later date. Thank you for playing.

Just when I thought the game could use an explosive so I could get the satisfaction of killing that giant swarm of enemies at once, I experienced the power up and it gave me exactly what I was looking for lol :D. I really enjoyed this. Perhaps adding an enemy that shoots a projectile would make it even more challenging and exciting. Good job!

It's not your fault that platforms are difficult and frustrating to play with keyboard, but you managed to make a very cool platformer with great art and sound. I couldn't get very far because I just couldn't get the double jump to cooperate. I didn't exactly see how the theme or prereq fit into it. Overall great job!

Felt like a crazy, fed-up taxi driver in the best way lol. Nice minimal art style and cool music, too! Only thing I can think of to make this better is a high score element, so I know when I did better than before. Perhaps a timer to see how long I last and compare to previous runs. Great job!

Great job in making something visually beautiful. I can relate to the storyline in that its tough out here right after school lol. I did notice a few typos, and I think adding punctuation would've helped with the readability and some extra umph for emotion. Also, maybe some SFX for some scenes would've been nice, like a rustling paper sound as the main character opened their letter.  Choices would be a great next step for you as you continue your game dev journey. Overall, great job and stick with it!

I was also confused by this game, and even when I found the veggies, I didn't know what to do next except throw a knife at them, yet I never seemed to make a salad. But bravo for finishing your game!!

I had trouble understanding how this game works, and I feel like it was lacking feedback to help me figure out if anything was happening. Perhaps someone who knows more about these kinds of games would do better. Overall, good job in making your game!

Ah, makes sense. Well great job regardless!

Really really cool game!!! I love the use of the theme and especially the prereq. The art is lovely but I didn't get any audio? The puzzles were fun and challenging. Great job!!!

Thank you!!

Thank you :)

Simple, fun, and exciting. I love the balance between a chill day gathering materials and trying to defend the island at night. For people who don't know it's keyboard only, I think it would be nice to have a controls screen before we start because at first I wasn't sure how to enter the crafting table. Also, at night, part of the screen was cut off at the bottom so I couldn't only see the top of the lighthouse. Not sure if that was on purpose or not. Either way, great job and you did an amazing job!

I really like this concept and the visuals, music, and SFX are nice. I wasn't able to save any ships after about 4 tries sadly. I wasn't exactly sure where to bring them. But very nice game!

Thank you!!

First game ever, thank you to mini jam for a fun challenge.
