If you use asset packs, i recommend just sticking to one or 2 that align with the theme, and just improvise with what you have. Still, just the fact you made something playable is super respectable!

Overscoping really is a beast uh? Such a shame you couldn't create a game with all the things you wanted, the art is phenomal and the dialogue with the coffe woman was really funny. Sadly there's little to no gameplay and as you said you didn't have time to get sprite layering done. Also evil Godot default sprites. I managed to get a fat level of 75 by day 6.
Cool little game you have done, happy that you got back into gamedev! The game is a little repetitive tho, the one power up does help a bit, but i think more power ups or even the ability to sacrifice an acorn to throw it at a dog, making him unable to attack for a while, would have been cool. Overall it's a cute little game. My high score was 33 before getting saved by the squirrel CIA.
This game was really relaxing and cute! Especially the little shroom guy. The gameplay wasn't really original, but it's good as it is. My only nitpick is that the hitboxes are the same as the sprite size: in most games the actual hitbox is smaller than the sprite to not make it feel unfair when the player takes damage when 1 pixel of the sprite touches an obstacle, and that happened alot to me. Still, you guys did such a great job on this! I finished the fall with 33 acorns.
The idea for the game is neat, and the art does have personality, but it's a little primitive. There also wasn't any audio, I don't know if that was only a problem for me tho. Pickups would also often end being more detrimental than good, but I guess that adds another layer of difficulty to it. My highest score was -188 m!
This was a really cozy game! I like the relaxing music and the minimalist art, but the gameplay felt very lacking and i had to find myself go and do something else while waiting for the vegetables to grow. Maybe giving the player some more agency in the speed of the plant's growth would have helped the gameplay.

As a first game jam, this is awesome! i especially like the palette you used, so retro! If i had to say something, the hammer hitting animation is slow, so slow infact that it's impossible to whack all the robots before they drain all the HP. Still, this can easily be fixed, and i congratulate you on making this really cute game
Hey, so it would be really nice if you would play my game! It's a retro platformer with a "Melty" twist. Here's the link: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2528949
Cool Game! Reminds me of games like Riddle School, and it gives a really creepy vibe. I found 2 bugs though. First, if you interact with something, leave the room and then return the subtitles wont go away until you re-interact with the object, and the second is the clock became impossible to interact with.
