Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. The game is currently in an early stage of development, and I am actively working on balancing and improving the core loops.
The space navigation uses a procedural event system inspired by games like FTL, which is why some connections might feel unpredictable right now. I am already looking into making the underlying logic and event flow clearer. The same goes for the visual cues during character interactions—I definitely need to make the feedback loop and the Captain's hints less cryptic so players don't have to rely on trial and error.
Regarding development: while the artwork is indeed AI-generated to help me build the game as a solo indie developer, all the text, writing, and code are fully handcrafted. It’s definitely not 'vibe coded', but I agree that the gameplay mechanics need more polish and structure.
I’m a bit confused about the "Better make a note of this for later" line from the Captain, as I couldn't find this exact phrase in my files. However, I will look into Molly's events to see why this is happening and what might have triggered that confusion.
Thank you for helping me make the game better!
