  • Collect – Gather resources from animals (cow/sheep milk, eggs, feathers), wells, and beehives.
  • Destroy – Remove buildings, but only within range of the player.
  • Repair – Fix damaged buildings, also limited to a specific range.
  • Craft – Create items and buildings using required materials and tools.

Animal Interactions:

  • Befriend – Feed clover to cows, sheep, and chickens to befriend them.
  • Leash – Use a rope on befriended animals to leash and teleport them home.

Farming & Gathering:

  • Plow Ground – Required to build farms.
  • Plant Trees/Bushes – Grow apple trees, pear trees, and blueberry bushes.
  • Fish – Only possible on water tiles.
  • Collect Mud – Gather mud for building materials.
  • Harvest Honey/Wax – Beehives produce more honey and wax if surrounded by farms.

Combat & Hostile Creatures:

  • Fight Wasps & Wild Bees – Hostile creatures that can attack you.
  • Avoid Ants & Thorn Bushes – Potential environmental hazards.

Building & Crafting:

  • Build Structures – Requires specific materials (wood, boards, mud, etc.).
  • Use Tools – Some actions require tools like bone saws, buckets, or hardened leather.
  • Manage Inventory – New graphical representations and item descriptions help with organizing items.

Exploration & Survival:

  • Claim Land – Players can own one personal claim.
  • Teleport with Animals – Using a leash on befriended animals allows teleporting them home.
  • Navigate Terrain – New dessert biome and obstacles like cactuses and anthills.
  • Find Rare Resources – Some materials like asteroid rock and petroglyphs are rarer but valuable.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Hey, I've tried:    https://rainbow-bytes.itch.io/wordle-unbound
Here is topic to my game:    https://itch.io/t/4550475/the-caveman-browser-multiplayer-survival-io-game-with-...

Feedback:

  • Rate this game doesn't work (404 not found)   -    https://rainbow-bytes.itch.io/wordl-unbound/rate?source=game
  • Clicking Toggle    Y/Z  Keys doesn't change anything. I didn't know if  it did change anything or not
  • When I was in settings and trying to figure out what toggle y/z does, it was adding letters to the real game
  • Overall I guessed the world during first game  and enjoyed it, just a few small bugs

I got some feedback on reddit:   https://www.reddit.com/r/playmygame/comments/1ikvfhp/comment/mbtgefm/?context=3

Updated  UI, How To Play and   Added few QoL changes

I  got some feedback via discord.  Added description to items, updated image resolution from 32 pixels to 64 - sprites should look a bit better now.

Hello everyone,

I am working on a survival multiplayer .io game and would love to get some feedback. The game is still in a very early stage, and there are many things to improve, but I want to focus on the most important ones.

The art style is pixel art—there’s definitely room for improvement, but for now, I’ve been focusing on the core mechanics.

https://noindyfikator.itch.io/the-caveman  (playable in the browser, with three clicks)

About the game

Survive the Stone Age in The Caveman! A challenging pixel-art survival game with side-view graphics!

Goal: Kill a mammoth in Standard Mode before the server shuts down!

The leaderboard works only for standard/competitive games and logged in users. A player receives points when they kill an animal.

If you're playing for the first time, I highly recommend reading the "Combat Moves" and "How to Play" section. Start with the LEARNING server to get familiar with the game.

The server is located in New York. I chose this location as the best option for North America, South America, and Europe. To be honest ping doesn't matter the gameplay that much (in my opinion - to be confirmed)

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the game

  • What did you find annoying?
  • How does the pixel art look? Does it seem low quality or inconsistent?
  • Did you experience any lag while playing?
  • How does the game feel in terms of balance?
  • Is the difficulty fair, too easy, or too hard?
  • Does the game have potential?

It's supposed to be long project and in few months I  plan to open long-living world when more content is available.
