Thanks for going back to it and for the feedback. The idea was that how to interact is part of the discovery. It's a good point though that once you've worked it out it's just going through the motions.
Really had fun with the weirdness of the towers and enemies. The graphics and sound are top notch. Wasn't very good at it but I tend not to be with this style of game.
Were you able to go to the screens north, south, east and west of the fountain screen as that's where you need to do things to progress. Also could you bring up the book with the Tab or Shift key?
The typo is just doing things at the last second :)
It'll be interesting to make those hitboxes bigger and see how that impacts the game. I was trying to make those the more difficult instrument to hit but perhaps thats not necessary.
Thanks for trying. I only had time to test it on my system. I think I'm going to look into making it a web based game when I have time to investigate how to do that.
The style and story make this a very intriguing game. I could not get my head around the unstable time tempo so I was not up to the challenge. Enjoyed what I played though.
