Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hello and I’m quite new to the whole setup of how Itch does it. Honestly confused about why I am to have a devlog on the game page while still there is a forum dealing with it. So I thought I’d do it like this. I post the devlog on my game page and then be open for discussions, feedback and thoughts here as I update the post with new links to the devlog. That way you get a nice look of the formatting and the talking will be in the forums.

Love seeing all the creativity in this space and hope to get acquinted with you guys real soon!

So what is Incognita? A first person immersive stealth game. You infiltrate corporations to extract, plant and sabotage without getting caught. Explore a conspiracy plot of militaristic empires, greed filled and esoteric religious cabals.

Spy on and outsmart lethal guards from the shadows and survive a gauntlet of security cameras, turrets and other traps by managing your operative with specialized skills and cybernetic tech. image.png

We are building all this on our own game engine and editor called Monobit, to have ownership of our own production pipeline and add things that we feel is a more modern way of working. Focus is currently on getting this to a production ready state. We will post everything on our devlog here on itch.

Goal is to post about the development and show what we want to do and how we do things all in the service of creating a fun and interesting experience. Any donations done will be put to production costs such as voice over, sound design etc.

Since I dont want to repeat myself I Will post the devlog links in here and I will be open for feedback, thoughts and discussions below.

Our Approach to Stealth

What bothers me is that the two ways of handling this is just splitting the readers. I just wrote two posts on the game page devlog and now noticed that there are people in the forums doing this. It’s so confusing!

This should all just be linked to the game pages somehow. Anyhow guess I’ll start a thread here and just link my posts
