Great game! How many levels are there? Or is it endless?

Thanks for posting. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the game!

Thanks for playing! It's a very flawed attempt at making a game for sure. Pairing puzzles with permadeath is really not a good idea, so I can understand your frustration :D

It was there for some time and then disappeared? That's weird. Maybe try to change the graphic options? If this is not possible because you have no mouse pointer you could overwrite the file data/settings.txt.

Those values will start it in windowed mode in 1280x768 resolution:

1280

Another important thing is not letting the organism get stuck on the walls. That's why I placed a contact-movement cell at the right top.

Yeah, level 5 is pretty tough. I managed to beat it using this design. It helps a lot to place your organism in such a way that it immediately starts attacking the opponent at the start of the game.

Yeah, the part where it was running is also decent, but maybe consider introducing new game mechanics a little slower, so the player won't get overwhelmed by them.

After working on this game in my spare time for six years, I was finally able to release it. It's a life simulation game about building microorganisms and letting them fight.

It has the creature creation aspect of Spore's cell-stage while at the same time being a deep simulation game in the vein of Conway's game of life. But hopfully more fun than that :D
