Gotcha, thanks for the reply! I'll try my hand at making individual weapon-based skills rather than using the weapon slots. Much appreciated! ^^

Hello! Just purchased this plugin - still trying to learn the ins and outs of it since there's a lot of different commands to go through. I wanted to ask if it would be possible to implement a simplified timing based combat system, similar to Crypt of the Necrodancer. I want the player to have to time their attacks on enemies based on an adjustable bpm per stage. I created an extension plugin myself that implements a timing bar at the bottom of the screen as well as an adjustable bpm (it also has an adjustable timing window that records the results of the last input as a string), but I can't figure out how to change the weapon damage output based on the timing of the attack, since I can only select weapon slot 1/2 for the Use Weapon Damage plugin command. I want to mitigate damage to an enemy if the player misses the timing, decrease the damage if they time it early/late, and do the normal amount of damage if they time it perfectly.

Thanks :D Even though it's kind of a joke game haha

Thanks so much for your kind words and review ^^ Will definitely take it to heart once I decide to expand on this project.

Thank you! I'll be sure to try out your game as well ^^

Hi there! Play through the game fully, took me about a half hour to beat and I really liked

-Very enjoyable story, also like the futuristic feel to the game

-I like how the dialogue with the interactables changed as the story progressed

-Puzzles weren't too hard or too easy

-I think hitboxes needs some adjustments, for both line of sights and lasers. Or just how much cover is given during these sections. I almost got the first one, but just ended up skipping it since it was hard to read the patterns. As for the laser puzzle, it was also pretty difficult, which is to be expected since it's the final one, but that one actually gave me less trouble than the stealth one haha

In summary, I had a ton of fun playing through this short and sweet game, and everyone who worked on it did an awesome job :)

Hello everyone! I'm usually not able to download a surplus of games due to my internet situation, but I'll be going out so that I'm able to download some things that I wanna try out. So, if anyone wants to recommend their or anyone elses IGMC entries for me to play and rate, please leave them below! It will most likely just be done on my own time and not streamed, but I'll be sure to give a review of what I think.

I'd also love if some people could try out my game as well, it's called Phantom Saga: https://nikkikaji.itch.io/phantom-saga

In summary, my game is a order turn battle-based rpg inspired by FF, Octopath Traveler, Radiant Arc, Genshin Impact, and Breath of the Wild. Takes place in a japanese-like region called Kirameki, though if the game is ever expanded on after the jam, I'd like to add other regions as well! If you play it, let me know what you think ^^

I had such a fun time playing this game, ended up having to make myself take a break from it haha. After I understood the mechanics a bit better after about 10 minutes, it was smooth sailing from there. I wanna continue my run in the future, but from what I saw so far, it's a really cute and creative concept. Amazing job!

I cannot wait to get the chance to download this haha

Hi there, I just wanted to say that I seriously enjoyed playing through your game! The retro style is something I'm not used to, but it was a nice change of pace and such a unique experience. Personally, I've never been too good at puzzle games, hence why I've failed to beat games like Link's Awakening (I got some terrible flashbacks to me trying to play that game lol) but I'm glad you put in ways to bypass certain puzzles for people like me.

I got about 30 minutes in and so far I love the storytelling, style, and just overall presentation of the game. I'll try to progress more in the future once I'm done reviewing a few other games :)

UPDATE: As I was typing this, I reloaded the game, and the girl opened up the path that I couldn't get past by shooting her bow. I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen initially but I guess I broke it somehow. I thought that I wasn't understanding something so I just want to alter my review a bit.

I think the difficulty is fine, but the only thing was that I broke every pot on my initial entrance into the dungeon, and because of that had no health items available to me afterwards until I got to the boss, and I was really afraid I locked myself in a bad spot and I didn't get to check if returning to town would heal me :') Thankfully got past it, but now stuck on the part after I open the key card door.  I'll have to give it another go in the future, but really solid game so far!

Thank you for the review! I'll be honest I really wish I had more time to work on the game, but I found out about igmc a week into it and I really had to rush some aspects I wish I didn't, and a lot of work needs to be done. I'd definitely like to polish this game in the future, so thanks for pointing some things out!

Hi there, sorry if this has already been answered, but will dragon tier patron rewards, like 4 directional map sprites, be obtainable to purchase on itch at some point? Or is there another way of obtaining them? I missed out on a few that I would really like to try to get someday.
