Saw the video it was great! I have some other horror games on my page if you’d be interested. They are my older work and some are a bit janky but I have more in the backlog if you’re interested.

Exactly the steps you made to get the good ending (it’s more specific than I would have liked). Initially I intended on having more events happen to more easily counter the “bad” choices. But yea, five day Jam 😅

Thank you so much! And well done on being (to my knowledge) the first person to get the good ending without me walking through the steps!

Thank you for playing multiple times! And yeah I am aware of the bugged out ending and it will be fixed. Thank you for the kind words!

I'm aware of the bug and know how to fix it, time just did not permit. It will be addressed post-Jam.  Thank you once again for your kind words :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have to ask tho, did you stay past the credits?

This is my favourite! I love the writing and the jokes... the art and modelling work is amazing it also reenforces why I could NEVER be a barista.

The art style is really cute! I love a story game about hard themes! It's a great effort!!

There  is a solid base here! the controls feel quite good and I feel like they would be a great starting off point for a future game! Great Job!

I love the cute twist on the theme! It's a great submission for a relatively short Jam.

No Mac version

Thanks for sharing your work! it's a good effort, I would just like reiterate the "original assets" rule. If you wish to submit your game to the jam. You or someone on your team must create visual assets. Otherwise great work!

good luck with finding a team you are also welcome to join my server and post in the teams channel if you haven’t done  so already.

The asset rule mainly refers to visual assets and sprites. You are welcome to utilise stock music and SFX.  The main reason for this rule was to ensure there aren’t identical games in the jam that utilise the same asset packs. In hindsight I should’ve made this point clearer so thank you for the question!

Games must have both versions, you do not need to worry about jumping through the hoops of being “verified”. Just simply export your project as a Mac version. You are also welcome to make downloadable versions for windows, Linux or any other platforms in addition to the Mac and web versions. I hope this clears things up.

the audio was almost too good this game was sp00ky! the screen effects really made me feel uneasy and the art was great! awesome work!!!!

an amazing entry! it's a complete wildcard of a game that fits the theme shockingly well. the art is incredible, music incredible, setting and story incredible. it's an amazing game you all should be very proud!!!!!

thanks for playing! the boss is just a matter of time  and you don’t lose progress after dying (you can see how far away the boss is with the little bar in the bottom left)

Nice work! I enjoyed the comic panel story telling but I was unable to beat the boss.

where you pressing 2 not Z by any chance?

thanks for the feedback and I am really happy you made it to the boss! I was very aware of that shortcoming unfortunately however the boss was literally the last thing I made with less than five hours left. Thank you for looking at it!

A very creative interpretation of the jam theme! it makes "the worlds hardest game" from the cool maths games days look like "hello kitty island adventure" lol. I couldn't get past the second level for the life of me. The gun sounded chunky, the points sound was satisfying and the game looked as good as it needed to. you should be proud of your work!!!

Great work!! i loved the art style and it's clear you made the music too which is a great achievement!! I'm curious as to how this game relates to being overpowered though? Ether way great work!

once I worked out how to shoot and build up attacks I had a pretty good time. this is an amazing entry you should be very proud!!

I loved the art style it was really cool. the opening cutscene was on point! I did feel the character was far to slow to move though and for the theme of "overpowered" the enemies took a lot of damage. with a bit of polish and balancing this game could be great! As it stands it's currently one of the better vampier survivors-like of the jam. Great work!!

Nice work! I loved the voice over in the game, I entered the first room and lost my wand, I also kept dying for seemingly no reason. (I don't know if I did something wrong or if it's a bug). either way nice work.

here’s my feedback, don’t use AI

Great work! a vampier survivors like is the perfect game for this Jam! I just wish it was more obvious that I was taking damage as it took me a couple of runs to work out why I just died.

Im glad you enjoyed! Due to the theme being "overpowered" the spamable attacks where intentional, this is balanced by having the player loose abilities as damage is taken. (you're supposed to abuse the Nuke and laser as there is a good chance you're not going to have them for very long).

great work! looking at the leaderboards was a mistake, there are some crazy scores lol. the art was great. the sound design worked. the controls worked when i got into the flow of the game but getting the tutorial every time i died was really annoying (i also died a lot lol). overall great work guys!!

Solid work! the controls did feel a little floaty and wonky and the music was loud. also i think the block is broken cuz i couldn't seem to stop without closing the game nut theres a good idea here and it's very ambitious for a 9 day jam!

CoOl BeAnS!!!

Congratulations on winning the jam!

thanks for the feedback I’ll be sure to fix the z key to be more readable after the jam (the menus don’t work and I need to fix them too lol)! I’m glad you liked the art as it’s what I spent the most time on and I hope the music was good too (I also made it).

great work! full stars for everything except the theme, i don't understand what's overpowered about this game. Overall amazing work!!

five stars across the borad and i laughed so hard when i opened the menu to be greeted with a random slider.
