Welcome Game Devs and Indie Game Enjoyers! Apple Seed G1 is a seven day game jam to celebrate and create a space for Mac users and devs. We welcome users of all platforms to share the love and their creations with Mac OS users.

So far twenty whole Australian dollars from Nic Stokell. Should you feel generous, all donations to any game on Nic Stokell’s Itch page will be added to the prize pool (No pressure to do so).

All games will be rated based on the following criteria:
Enjoyment.
Use of Theme.
Sound and Music.
Art and Visuals.
The final prize-winner will be selected by the judges. The judges are guaranteed to play the top 20 community voted games. We may play more entries if time allows and the winner may fall outside the top 20 entries.
Please allow the judges 7-14 days after community voting closes to play the entries and decide on the winner.
1# Entries must have Web AND Mac downloadable versions you are also welcome to export to other platforms. (being an unverified developer is completely fine, just export the game to Mac in whatever engine you are using).
2# The theme must be incorporated into the game.
3# The game must be made within the Jam period.
4# Absolutely NO AI USE OF ANY FORM. If the judges are made aware of ANY AI use in your project, IT WILL BE REMOVED WITH PREJUDICE! You will also be banned from the Nic Stokell Projects Discord server.
5# No NSFW. Please refer to Twitch community guidelines for what we will accept. Please also label any sensitive topics in your description if necessary.
6# You must have the right to use any assets or IP in your project. No fan games unfortunately. Pre-made assets (that are not AI) are allowed but it is encouraged that you make your own.
7# If you miss the deadline you better have a good reason otherwise your submission will not be accepted.
8# You may fix game breaking bugs after submitting, no new content is allowed to be added in the voting period.
9# Teams are welcome! No max size. You may only submit one project to the Jam. (If you are in a team you may not submit another game on your own or within another team.)
10# Games submitted to Apple Seed G1 remain your property however you agree that we may share them publicly via streams, YouTube videos and other promotional material.
11# If you win, we must be able to contact you and have some method of getting the prize money to you.
