Beautiful game with some heart as well as interesting mechanics.  We had a similar bird-healing vibe going on with our entry!  https://itch.io/jam/patch-notes/rate/3878433

Heya, thanks for the offer but I'm booked up already.  Maybe another time!

EDIT:  I'm now committed to a team but thanks to everyone who got in touch!  Best of luck.

Hello!

I'm an experienced composer/sound designer looking for teams interested in building a music-focused game for the jam.  I am a huge fan of Tetris Effect and Lumines (https://www.nicholassinger.com/blog/tetriseffect) and would love to explore using similar concepts to make a game that really benefits from musical integration and harmonic/melodic sound effects, musical reward mechanics, rhythmic gameplay, and all that stuff.

I'm comfortable using Unreal, Unity and Godot but do most of my work using fmod and/or metasounds, I can take care of all integration if needed.

You can check out my work at http://www.nicholassinger.com

Thanks!

Thanks!  Thought I'd post here as well just in case :)

Hi everyone, I'm an experienced composer and audio designer from London UK, looking for passionate teams to join.

I was nominated for Best Audio in an Indie Game at the Game Audio Guild Awards at GDC 2024, and have two Emmy nominations for my film composing work.

I write many styles of music, scalinf from small indie electronica soundtracks to full live orchestral and choral sessions, and able to provide deep adaptive/interactive integration in Unity Unreal and Godot.

My rates are very reasonable and negotiable and I am willing to consider revenue share as an option.

Keen to push boundaries and use interesting techniques such as context/harmony-sensitive musical sfx and music-driven gameplay- but also very happy to stay simple and focus on atmosphere and emotion.

More info and demos on my website: http://www.nicholassinger.com/

Thanks for reading 🙂

Really enjoyable, polished and well put together! Really makes the most of the core mechanic

Hi again,

Really not bad stuff, i think you need to be a bit careful using melody in games as lots of repetition will get annoying for some players, so maybe use the piano more sparingly, and have longer sections without melody, maybe add a B section with some different chords/harmony to give some variety.  The pickup sounds are in key with the music which is nice, maybe expand that by having a set of different notes that are played randomly when you eat something, since the player will be hearing that sound a lot and variety is a good thing.

Also if you can think of ways to change the music when different things happen in the game, that's also a good way of making the music feel more involved rather than being something that feels 'in the background'

Kep up the good work!

Hi there.  Love the vibes, can you email me (mail@nicholassinger.com)?  Thanks :)

Hi there, I've found a couple of teams but will probably have time to take on more- and if not I've got a library of tracks that might be suitable- feel free to email me and I'll see what I can do!

Heya, always happy to help; in case i miss the upload do you want to email me at mail@nicholassinger.com when it's ready for feedback?  Thanks :)

Hi Chris,

Thanks for replying!  Halo (and Marathon before that) were massive influences for me, I got a bit obsessed with it and wrote a load of fan music back in the day:

Would love to help out, can you drop me a line at mail@nicholassinger.com?

Hello, I'm looking for teams that might need a last minute bit of music and audio for this jam.

All kinds of styles/genres- check out my work at www.nicholassinger.com

Thanks!

Hi!  I'm an Emmy-nominated composer and sound designer with 20 years experience writing and producing music for film, tv, theatre and videogames.

http://www.nicholassinger.com

Experienced in all aspects of production, from small electronic scores to full orchestral sessions, and an expert in adaptive music and audio integration.

I'm fascinated by interactive and adaptive music and the opportunities it provides for immersion.   Always looking for creative teams to join and work with.

Although I don't have much content on itch.io, I have worked on games shipped on PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series X and PS4/5:

I was composer and audio designer on City of Beats, which was nominated "Best Audio in an Indie Game" at the Game Audio Network Guild Awards @ GDC in 2024.

The last two games I worked on before that- Road to Ballhalla and Depth- both scored over 80 on Metacritic.

My rates are very reasonable and negotiable nad I can scale to any budget or requirements.

Drop me a line and let's talk about how I can help you and your project!  Happy to provide tailored demos and spec work for no charge, and with no strings attached.

This is a short set of atmospheric rpg/fantasy styled tracks I released a few years ago. They are orchestral in style and are adaptive- Ambient 1-4 are interchangable and can effectively fade in and out of a soundscape, while Village 1 & 2 are longer, loopable tracks and each have an active and quiet version which can be cross-faded if stacked vertically.

Feel free to use them in your project but please credit me if you do.

I'm always looking for creative teams to join so please get in touch if you like what you hear :)
