Thanks a lot

Go check it out: https://nestorherre.itch.io/fountainoflife

Great work! Used some of these icons in my game, they were perfect!

Thank you!

I'm not too familiar with sound files, so everytime I tried to convert the soundtrack from mp3 to wav it turned out to be huge in comparison, so the only way to get a low size was to compress it in that way. But you're right, I reuploaded the soundtrack and now it sounds way better, even if the size is too big.

About the diag movement, it was a feature that I wanted but had to give up in order to advance, it was taking me a while to implement that and the subsequent animations. Might get it done in a later time, but for this jam unfortunately it'll be missing.

Hi!

Game Title/URL: Fountain of Life https://nestorherre.itch.io/fountainoflife

Pitch/Information: Topdown action game where you fight evil enemies that want to take over the Fountain of Life! You are attached to the fountain, so everytime that an enemy reaches it, you lose life.  Game is sort of a Tower Defense but instead of towers you use the main character to defend the fountain.

I'd like feedback on:  anything you think that can be improved.

Thanks! (Reuploaded because I linked the game incorrectly last time)

Hi everybody! You can check out my recently-made game in here: https://nestorherre.itch.io/fountainoflife

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

My name is Néstor and I'm from Colombia.  Glad to be here.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

This is my first game jam, started playing around with Godot a couple of weeks ago and decided to try making a full game.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

I used to play a lot of games but nowadays I rarely play; currently intersted in making them. I enjoyed mostly platformers, topdown arpgs, 2.5d rpgs and mobas.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I developed 2 games around 8 years ago for a college assignment. Used android and coronasdk.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

Passionate about self development and achieving the best self that I can within my life.  Martial Arts practitioner (currently Muay Thai).

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

Finishing a game within a reasonable scope that I'm satisfied with, learning more about godot engine, practice programming and achieve a high rank! I already completed the first 3 goals, waiting for the last one.
