The game is actually smooth on Linux (I'm playing on Mint), though it looks like it's not on the Unity engine. Could you confirm if it is or not?

Instead of Discord (for I'm a Free Software-centric guy), why not I playtest the game in future versions as a Linux player, and report my findings to one of your developers, if there is a Linux dev in the future, using Matrix via DM? That way, if I find anything wrong with it that's obvious, I could let you know that way.
For now, I'll use the Windows version on Linux Mint with WineHQ Staging, possibly Lutris ProtonGE build (stuff I don't think you'd understand necessarily well).
Hello,
I found this game while perusing ways to get Robot Arena 2 set up on Linux to play again. I downloaded your Linux build and had already found an annoyance where I can't select a collision algorithm with the weird shapes I was able to come up with. I understand that the game is in beta testing right now, but this is a little weird. Maybe I'm just new to the game and don't know what I'm doing.
On Linux through WineHQ, this game is nice and smooth (coming from an fighting game beginner), though I personally don't care for Among Us, it's pretty solid nonetheless.
My issue is that there's a wacked out screen where when I try to change my control scheme for the joystick I use (HORI RAP4 Kai to be specific), I can't see any text in terms of the input assignment screen. Are there any Windows DLL's or utilities that I need to install onto my prefix?
Say you take Fedora, but fix up a lot of different aspects to make it point and click, but also high performing for gamers and content creators. That's what GloriousEggroll did with Nobara. If you go to nobaraproject.org, you'll find what he did for this project, with no affiliation to Fedora, despite being a Fedora engineer himself.
Ok, so this is a doozy. I'm using this application on Linux through WineHQ (did you consider people on Linux using WINE for this app?). It loads well, but her colors are off. Must be a visual bug, which looks like this. From taking a look further, her skin is blue, this book is blue, her hair seems normal or yellow, her mascot is blue, the desk is blue, and the clock, as seen here, doesn't even show up. I could tweak my prefix to make it look right, though. Which things do I need installed? Dotnet? Visual Code redist?
Huh, I never realized that the Itch app actually had a forum. Expect me to be active here.
That said, my name is Nëïgsëndöïg Cöcülës (Neeg-sen-doyg Ko-kyu-uhls). I'm a gamer with almost 18 years of experience, and essentially a jack-of-all-trades in terms of gaming. I'm a user of Linux and Open-Source software, and plan on doing this for the rest of my life (mainly due to my threat model being relatively low, but I won't get there). I don't just game, as I also play music, write, create content on YouTube (CoculesNation for those interested), and mainly whatever I can get my hands on.
In terms of Game Dev, I did take a class in 12 grade US, but never got to code for those purposes. I was thinking of using an open-source engine with C++ as my language of choice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Let me restart: When I try to change the controls on Linux, I can fill the selection bubble, but I'm in a softlock after that. I can't do anything to leave the options screen, nor can I even make the changes I wanted, so I have to Alt-F4 out of the game, and restart hoping it works (I know, I'm that insane). Hopefully, that solves the misunderstanding.
Now that I tried it again, I can confirm that on my end, I'm softlocked into an option selection, not even Backspace will help either.
Edit 2: I can confirm that the Windows version of this game will work on WINE as intended.
