Thank you so much for this feedback!
The camera system is very much under developing. The camera position resetting is the next thing to do! It is very much needed.
The letter collecting is now just a test to so to speak "task testing" so there is something to player to concentrate while drifting around. We are thinking something more story reliable in the future - any ideas for what player should be finding and picking up? :) Ideas are always welcome!
We have been thinking also the pure sandbox are where you can test and drive and drift. Without tasks - that would be good place to train drifting skills before taking them in to the city level!
Grand Drift Aune is an experimental scooter drifting game about an elderly rebel powered by energy drinks, refusing to end up in a nursing home.
We just dropped our biggest update yet:

The game looked surprisingly good for a game jam project. Unfortunately, I noticed that after the beginning, the graphics took a bit of a hit and weren’t as consistent all the way through. I also managed to complete the game without having to do any of the tasks. On my screen, the canvas was slightly too large during the ending story texts, but that’s not a big deal. The texts were also visible for too short a time, so I couldn’t read everything. Still, the idea is solid, and with some careful polishing, this could become a really good game product!

This was our first time participating in a game jam, even though we've been developing games professionally for a few years already. It’s been such a refreshing and inspiring experience!
Big thanks to the organizers and everyone in the community — it’s amazing to see the creativity and passion in all the projects shared here.

We’d love to hear your thoughts, and we’re excited to try out your games too. Thanks again and happy jamming!

💬 From the Devs
We started this weird little project in March . We're a small Finnish team with too much sarcasm and not enough budget. This is our playable demo version – bugs will exist. Some colliders have left the building.
We ask humbly:
💸 Support us with a few euros and we'll promise to texture that one empty room. And maybe something more.
I just released a short horror game called Find The Potato! 🥔🔍 The objective seems simple: find a potato. But trust me, it’s not that easy. Expect some unexpected jump scares that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat! 😱
It’s quick, eerie, and definitely not for the faint of heart. If you’re up for a little scare and want to see if you can survive the hunt, give it a try!
