The part after prologue is better, but still left me confused about things. Like I had no idea Akane was part of the team, I either missed it completely or was it not explained or did she just happen to be in the room, but not actually part of the team? 😕

It is a really nice game overall though, thanks!

Just started and must say it is quite hard to follow. I think the prologue can be greatly improved by introducing things in a way that makes more sense.

I still have no idea what is up with that competition, what is up with sectors and various organizations, supposed team MC is a part of, who are the large number of almost random characters… Everything is introduced so quickly and many conversations start about one thing, and then abruptly transition to other things multiple times in a row, which does not help with comprehension either.

The writing and transitions are much better than “Industry Baby”, but gives a similar vibe of the author assuming the reader knows the things they clearly can’t know.

I wish there was some introduction about the world the story is set in, some basic mandatory background information. Something that would make the following content make more sense rather than seeming like it started in the middle and I’m a fool for not knowing the prerequisites.

Controller support could use improvements, anything custom basically doesn’t work starting with the very first choice. At least basic Ren’Py stuff works most of the time.

Spent about an hour reading endless monologue, which simply got boring in the end.

Way too many choices with absolutely unclear consequences, some of which can and some can’t be rolled back without saves. I generally prefer linear stories and tolerate quite high amount of variability if the rest of the game is worth it. But here the number of options per unit of interest was simply off the charts. I suggest to reduce them and maybe have some feedback about what they do. For example some games have some kind of points system, others have subtext on options (especially with walkthrough mods) that explain what the choice does.

Facial expressions right now do not match the emotions according to the story. Most of the time remain neutral or slightly happy, which doesn’t really make a lot of sense. It’d be more immersive if there was some continuity between the two.

Not sure how I feel about the screen split into 3 parts most of the time and odd camera angles. I don’t hate it, but can’t say I like it too much either.

And, subjectively, the main character has curves that are almost unnatural. Though this is definitely a question of taste.

I think I understand the concept behind the story, but it didn’t like it so far. Hopefully things will improve going forward.
