I'm glad you liked the update, and the reference! I'll admit that I've really only played OPP once, but I thought the way the growth happens was really funny.
You can pause and press "return to safe room" most of the time, which will also empty you out. However, if you're in a trap that keeps you until you're knocked out, then you have to wait.
Don't get hasty. Each update so far has been ~4 months apart. The 1 year anniversary of the game is December 17th, which seems like a perfect time to release the update.
Nym-Foe's fight is currently working as intended and will only change if I encounter any bugs with it.
I do want another room or two that actually forces the player to use their head, like the computer puzzle. I don't know about like, genuine riddles, but we'll see.

I'm trying to make it the best game I can, aha! I've played a decent number of RPGMaker games and I wanted to make something that sticks out a bit. I have a lot of stuff planned for the next update - of course, it's some time away so it's subject to change, but the general ending of the game has been written.
The cowbell can be found in the side room connected to the casino, after getting the second prize. Nym-Foe's underwear can be found in her room once you have the RFID item to get in freely. Both are junk items... for now.
I think the reason this happened was because I added a debug check, in-game, that tries to determine if the game is running with elevated privileges (i.e. in Admin mode).
This check runs net session with no arguments - a read-only command that only succeeds if the program is an admin, and fails otherwise. This command would normally be used to see if the computer is being used as a remote device.
On both success and fail, the check does nothing afterward. It was originally going to be used to skip a puzzle by cheekily running the game as admin, but I may end up removing it entirely.
Also, the check always fails when the game is running in the browser, so even if you don't trust the downloaded version of the game, you can still play it in your browser.

The casino backroom may end up being changed later - notably, the item might get replaced.
Hey, maybe you should try KO'ing to the bathroom mirror at 13,000cc or more (use unshackled growth from the ending room, once you have all the medipens).
