PROJECT VAGARI Ch.0: Madness Epilogue
You are the Wandering God, a being given full dominion over a dying intersection between two alien worlds. With your avatar, explore it to your heart's content, and discover all of its secrets.
Based on games like Zelda II, the Ultima series, Final Fantasy I, and even Elder Scrolls, this is an open-world immersive sim that melds the simplicity of older games with complex simulation elements to make a low-fidelity world feel alive and immersive.

The game was originally intended to be entirely original -- hence, Ch.0.
However, I'm running out of time due to being unemployed in the middle of a historically bad job crisis. I can't afford to pay my bills, let alone hire artists, and so I ended up using sprite art from other sources in order to compensate. This necessitated that the story and world become entirely different, and thus, Ch.0 was born as a Zelda fangame. Regardless, if you discover all of its secrets, you will find surprising teasers for what will hopefully become Ch.1.
If you like the game, please support it on itch.io or support me on Ko-Fi so that Ch.1 can be made. But honestly, it's mostly so that I don't go homeless and die in the free-for-all that is the Canadian homelessness epidemic.
Please note that this is technically a proof of concept, despite all of the listed content being available. As a result, updates will come that will fix bugs, improve stability, adjust the game from player feedback, and add new content.
It comes up clean on my end. However, just in case, I scanned my computer, recompiled the whole .exe, and ran it through VirusTotal.
Here are the results.

The 1 flag is from Gridinsoft. Concerned, I did research, and discovered that this is a common flag that results from a .exe file being unsigned.
Being "unsigned" generally just means it's unofficial.
tl;dr: It's a common false flag that happens with homebrewed software. The game should be perfectly safe, and you're welcome to warn everyone otherwise if it ends up hurting your computer. I don't want anyone harmed by my passion project.
