Adding convoluted mechanics and not explaining them thoroughly seems to be a reoccuring theme for me. I'm sorry.

When I update the game, I'll probably add some kind of "endless mode", I dont know what would be the challenge yet, I'll have to get creative.

Thank you for playing and I'm glad you've enjoyed the game :)

Fun game, solid artstyle. Using skills felt jank at first, but I got used to it really quickly and that's where the fun began.

Your honor, I did not try to pick up that bone.

Fun game, the voodoo doll mechanic is very creative and I've enjoyed the gameplay a lot.

Also, the game has dodge roll as a mechanic. I love that. Game of the year.

Cute little game with a cute little ghost. There was this one level with two boxes stacked on top of eachother near a trampoline making it near impossible to jump on it. Showing a timer on the UI would be great since it's not fun to just randomly lose.

Probably a nitpick, but I'd like to skip the "YOU WIN" screen with a spacebar instead of a mouse, since you don't really need to use a mouse in gameplay.

The game looks really nice. I really dig the "2d pixel art in 3d with effects and filters" type of deal. The song is fantastic, made me cozy right out of the gate, you could say I became a sleepyhead myself.

I'm really sad, that you couldn't finish the game in time. I hope you can continue working on the game and turn that "post mortum" devlog into a "we are so back" devlog.

Also, I like the main character a lot. He is just a sleepy little fella. :)

Also, the lizard man is just standing there. Menacingly.

Hey, cool game. The artstyle is simple yet effective. I liked how enemies charge at you when they are near, that's a great touch. However, when they did that, it caused the game to lag until they've stopped colliding with me. Performing necromancy by spawning friendly units to fight for you is a mechanic I liked too. Some kind of feedback or UI indicator for sprint and necromancy would be great (unless there is one and I've missed it).

Also, the linux version of the game had a folder labeled "DoNotShip", I dont think you need to upload that.

Thank you, glad you've had fun :)

Thank you, glad you've enjoyed playing the game!

Giving permanent buffs to your cards is intentional, otherwise you'd have two souls to take down one enemy. Optimally you use selfless soul to buff up your souls in the early rounds and then either change it for a tortured/malicious soul or buff the enemies for extra score if your souls are powerful enough.

There is no lose state in this game, I wanted to make a chill card game without stress of losing. If the player wants to skip through every round and get a score of 0, they can. Basically, every player can decide their own win and lose state.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for playing.

I agree, tutorial would be very helpful. I was thinking about adding text when transitioning between phases, but decided that it'd get annoying after awhile. Hope you enjoyed the game.

Yeah, I'm really embarrassed that I forgot to mention the most essential button. I hope you can give the game another try.

I totally forgot to mention the end turn button, thank you so much for mentioning that. Indeed, sometimes its not worth removing a curse if the effect doesnt bother you but i agree that blessings can be a bit overpowered overall. Healthbars of invisible enemies being visible is not a bug. Thank you for playing the game and im glad you've had fun!!

Not as in it was invisble, he was far below and i jumped straight into him twice.

Amazing game!! Cute artstyle, great animations and absolutely slapping soundtrack. Also during my playthrough i fell right into the enemy i couldnt see twice.

Who put my snowman in hell? The game is fun to play, the graphics, and the choice of music is charming. However, it was quite counterintuitive to use LMB to shoot when you cant actually aim, but then i figured i can also use spacebar.

Amazing looking and sounding game!! The gameplay is simple and fun, a visual indicating where you can and cant use the ability would be great tho.

Thank you for playing the game!! I will consider polishing it and making it into an actual game after the jam.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!! I really need to put interactive tutorials into my games since convoluted controls and mechanics seem to be a bit of a reoccuring theme in my games.

Definitive crustacean game. Simple, yet fun gameplay. The ability to choose your weapon and what to trade for money multiplier is welcome and adds to replayability. The sound is very unbalanced, if there are 6+ crabs hitting you at the same time you will hear it quite loudly and my left ear enjoyed the sound of the cannon shots. Overall a fun game!!

I got you, I will release it on youtube alongside with uncompressed wavs soon.

The idea of being an actual curse is quite original. Took me awhile to figure out the controls and what to do in general. The art is charming and music fits the visuals. However, the skull got really annoying really fast, it feels like he never stays quiet for more than 4 seconds. Overall a fun little game!!

A neat little game. The controls are fine as long as you are staying on the ground. The curiosity curse is quite interesting altho i wish it would show where the rooms start and end, because some of those were very unintuitive. Can't say much about graphics because there are none, but the music is very calming and got me zoned out for a bit.

The sprite work on player and enemies is cute, i like this little adorable cat. I liked the idea of stacking more and more curses on top of each other the longer you are playing, but it becomes near unplayable at the end, also some curses stopped working at some point, like inverted controls. The curse descriptions are funny, the brazil numero uno and sus impostor ones are obviously the best.

Really liked the artstyle and the color palette. The music and sound effects are simple but fit so well with the visuals. The controls took a bit of time to get used to. Overall a great game!!
