The wacky vibes were brilliant, and I absolutely loved the voice acting it was superb. As someone who has made a pizza game before I can appreciate such a thing - my main critique would be that only having one customer at a time kind of loses the frantic chaos of other games like this which leads to some repetition... otherwise a really fun and goofy entry! Well done :)

Thankyou so much :) Yes I'm very tempted to continue making this game - in my head I imagined I'd have a 3D model of a Joker who sits opposite you, but my lack of 3D skills and limited time mesnt this probably would have been impossible, but I could do so.
The main complaint from others has been that the rules were hard to understand as you said. Could work on that also.
Thankyou for the feedback!
Thankyou so much for this great feedback! Yes I try and always add a leaderboard if I can to my jam games - it really helps to add further motivation to play! I always use LootLocker for the online aspect because I'm familiar with it now.
I did consider implementing a timer for the Joker - however I feel that might have dampened the fear and panic element I was going for when you pick up the card, so I prompted to have a heartbeat that speeds up. From the sound of it this did stress you out, which for me counts as a win hehe.
To be honest I don't play too many card games, I've been playing Balatro recently which is obviously why I made this game haha... but I think youre right that the game needed some more depth and understanding more about card games and their complexities could have helped with this.
Thank you again!
Such a nice artstyle, the game looks so good! I like the interpretation of snake - although to me it looks like the levels and different stars don't really do anything? Maybe to make the game different from the original snake, make the different stars have different effects or something.
Well done :)
I enjoyed this game alot, the idea of running from a black hole was great and I liked the gameplay, though the pieces used for the infinte world generation were a bit repetative, It may have helped to have smaller props that can randomly swap out within each level piece just to make it a bit more dynamic.
Great entry!
This was such a fun game! Played it right through to the end, even though it was difficult it was so in an addictive way, and while it was visually simple it nailed the pixel style. Also the audio was bopping
My only criticism would be some slightly clunky controls at times, otherwise perfect well done! :)
This game had really cool concept and I liked the control - it was a bit sluggish on my device and I often got lost trying to find the idols - some kind of indicator of their position would be nice. The map could also do with some more things the make the game feel alive! Also, there was no audio for me, not sure if that was just for me though
Well done! :)
Haha the apple guys with their goofy sound effects were funny, and there were some interesting ideas in terms of abilities gained from apples.
I would say the game is a bit tedious to control and play, it's a simple programmer but its a bit finicky in places. The librarian made me quit I can't lie because you die if he sees you moving at all - there should be some kind of buffer.
Nice submission, well done!
This was such a fun one, the visual design was actually brilliant, and the satire was fun. Obviously reminded me alot of games like Adventure Capitalist.
The only thing I would say about it visually is that it would be nice if it was a bit more animated, but obviously jam time is limited.
Well done, cool entry :)
The controls are super wacky but I actually kinda love how janky the movement is? I feel like you could really have fun speedrunning this game. I also just like the whole vibe of this game it's very Sonic-y. My only real complaint is that it felt like you should be able to defeat enemies somehow. Also I guess the gameplay doesn't really have a ton to do with the theme, only the aesthetics.
Well done!
This game made me... incredibly angry. Well done!
Genuinely really liked playing this game even though I rage quit and couldn't see half of the game. I would complain about the difficulty but I imagine it's probably intentional - if so you succeeded! If not then I'm probably just terrible at it.
I loved the little retro style the game had, it felt a bit like a minigame from a bigger game, which is oddly specific.
Speaking of oddly specific, I'm curious to learn the context behind this game. Why did this child eat this coin? Why did you choose this specific senario for a game? Why must you insist that this is an American child? Meditate on this, I will.
Was also sad to hear no sound effects or music, but I understand that sometimes you gotta have priorities with these game jams.
Had a fun time with this one, well done!
I loved this game sm, the idea that you have to take the risk of being closer to death so that you can go faster is so creative! The level design is my favourite bit because it all perfectly complements the game's concept and. Also looks beautiful and the music rocks.
My only complaint is that I'm very bad at this game ;-; there were some bits which were a bit hard to predict without dying first, which made me feel like the game was aiming to be a rage game?, but while I sucked at it it wasn't quite THAT hard, so these bits felt a bit awkward.
Other than that this is a great game concept I hope you do well this jam ;D
At first I had no idea how to play the game (should maybe explain that) but eventually I figured it out. Great idea playing as a fireman! Though the game for the most part consists mostly of just walking into one room, picking up a guy, taking them to the stairs and then repeat. I can imagine with more time, adding stuff like obstacles, objectives, upgrades etc. this concept could be super fun. I really liked the camera turn, it just felt nice and snappy. Well done!
Enjoyed movin around as this guy and the overheating system makes sense. It's also nice to have some platforms to rest on while youre getting used to the controls but overall they aren't needed, nice to have. I also love that astronaut model it's super cute!
The level could do with some more... of anything to be honest. It's pretty much just spikes and walls which gets a bit old. Also, I get why the right arrow controls the right thruster etc. but it feels very counter-intuitive. Lastly the player loses momentum way too quickly - this seems like the kinda game where you can gain momentum from falling and then rocketeer through some of those flatter bits, but instead you just slow down instantly and have to crawl through which is kinda tedius.
My time was 00:38.49! Well done because making models for a jam is probably super hard!
I love the gameplay this one definitely had me playing for a while. There are quite a few enemy types so the game actually has A difficulty curve and the artstyle looks alot like a flash game which i love. I wish the player character (and some of the enemies) was faster though, because it's a bit sluggish.
This is so cooool!! The art and sound are great. It says you didn't make the music but it still works super well. I also love dodging the enemies with my mouse it feels pretty good, though the lerping could be a little less. I think the game doesn't have much of a difficulty curve, maybe don't refresh the health quite so much so that the game is a bit harder. Brilly :D
