This is awesome, don't think I have ever seen a puzzle like this. Can't get level 14.
+ Hidden Tutorial
+ Easy Controls
+ Nice Sound Effects
+ It gets much harder
- Don't like elevator music :)
Wow this game is heavy for a 47 hours game jam (500 MB). The game also ran my AMD Ryzen 5 5600X to it's maximum on the opening screen.
Nice monster model, looks fun but I don't have a controller to test the 2nd player and most importantly, no friend to test with :(
Did not rate, but it looks very promising.
I agree with the comments made so far. Nice sounds, fitting the theme of the jam, controls are clear and easy to use.
I actually could not solve the game without actually putting my mind into it, which is exactly what you want in a puzzle game. Not to mention the amazing art style. This game hits all the marks for me.
I am glad you had fun with the game! :)
I have the intention on build this game up even after the jam is over, so follow and maybe those won't be an issue anymore.
Do you mind if I ask you about what was going on as the game crashed? Anything out of place? Any errors that were raise?
Thank you for the comment :)
Cute idea.
Probably would have used different words (hero -> zero - all but one letter is the same):
Champion -> Oblivion
Sage -> Lame
Glory -> Gloom
There are a few bug that I encountered:
- shop pop-ups linger,
- math calculations seem incorrect - 'T' * 2 yields 'M', but expected 'N' ('T'=20, 20*2 = 40, 40 mod 26 = 14, 14 = 'N')
