It depends on how we distribute the game to you. Either your added through steam and gifted the game, or I can find an appropriate website to buy the game so you can receive a steam key. Once games have been distributed via email I will only do this once. Whatever you choose to do with that link is solely up to you. But that means beyond that point I am not responsible for what you choose to do with it.

Since we have so few entries for the first Jam yes you may.

I discovered something, unless I have my VPN on in China I cannot upload any content to Itch.io, this might be good to note. When my VPN was connected I could add images and upload content.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to respond,

I am working on setting up a game jam and I want to know if there is a policy page on how to distribute awards, if giving out awards is allowed, and the best way to give announce the award.

For example, I want to give the first place winner a steam key, am I allowed to list the title of the game, or is that not allowed? Also what do I do to protect myself in ensuring that the winner does not claim that I had not given them their prize, when in fact I have?

Really appreciate the time someone takes into this post, and hopefully I'll be able to host a great game jam.

Thanks a ton,
Morjon17

I appreciate the response, I have tried for the past hour, so I think I will wait 24 hours before trying to make another attempt. Again much appreciated friend.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to help me.

I have uploaded games in the past with no issues, but now I get the error "There was a problem completing your upload. Try again. If the problem persists contact support." . I am uploading a compressed Unreal Game that only takes up 159MB. I was trying to find the issue in the forums and I saw one person was reported for spam by posting to too many game jams.

I have not done that but I did today leave a game jam, would that put a spam status on my account? Also I am wondering is it because I am uploading from China that I am getting issues?

Thank you tons,
Morjon17

P.S. I downloaded the Itch App and couldn't upload through there, and I am not uploading a paid game, it is a no payment status.
