I love your style and am working with your assets, it can be hard to match the psx theme though when I make new assets so thank you!

Do you have any tips on making psx textures?

thank you :)

I used godot and I could export to web, i used this video

(if you use glow i dont think you can)

I really love the graphics and the puzzles, I only wish there were more!

Though one thing i had a hard time understanding was the spring jump things because it seems at times the velocity your sent at feels random.

Other than that though its amazing, and again i just wish there were more puzzles as they were designed really well! Great work!

I love the style so far, hope you get it to a state where its more than just playable!

I think I underscoped my game a bit. I decided to make it a rougelite to cut time making levels but now I already have all of the main systems. All I can do for the most part is add more rooms and polish.

Wow! I loved this game, I hope to see it expanded in the future. Something I think would be nice is if at the start of a mission your timer should stay still until you move to give the player a moment to breath, other than that this game is amazing and reminds me a lot of hotline miami. Please keep up the good work!

Thanks! Im using this in a jam, ill make sure to credit you

Ive seen various over youtube and itch, heres one https://joewantsabrew.itch.io/light-ball

I dont think theyll replace indie artists because things like Stardew Valley wouldnt be the same if it wasnt made by just 1 person. I do imagine in the future game artists for major companies might be replaced to cut back on expenses, because we're at a point where its not if AI will be able to model full characters, its when. Overall I think probably not indie artists, but possibly larger studios might start using ai art. I have another thought on this topic, do you think at some point AI will replace the whole game developement process? Its just a thought thats been lingering in my mind recently because there have already been games made entirely with AI, and its kinda related to this.

You know the saying a watched pot never boils? Yeah that

Hi!

I really liked the clean movement and shooting felt very satisfying

If you ever update the game it might be helpful to have a small tutorial so people arent confused at first

The upgrades were super fun and I like what you did with the idea!

Overall, I quite liked it and had some mindless fun

thanks for showing it on stream and for the feedback! It helps a lot

I think this idea has been done a lot, but you are first ive seen to handle it this well! The other games ive seen with this idea either let you die infinitly making there be almost no puzzle element or have no varition in platform when you die both of which are here which makes it in my opinion so much better. I also love the art, its so nice and perfectly conveys the theme.

Im just reviving this thread bc im still rating games

Would the game be from like a top down view?

This is my first game jam and id like to know what i can do better next time, if you got to me thanks!

It felt so polished and nice and I liked how the character had weight but was still floaty though the dash felt a bit short

Ill check your game out!

No, this game was inspired by the cuphead airplane segments, but I looked that game up and it looks great I might try it sometime!

Ok, make sure if you have the time to check mine out too!

I dont know what it was, but something about this game was so amazing it captured the windows 95 esc style and so far in terms of idea and story is my favourite

This really deserves more ratings!
