Moving away from Unity and going with Godot! Just started learning over the past couple of days hoping to make a nice first project with it. :)

Gongbat was built in Game Maker Studio a number of years back and this game was built with Unity. My future projects will all stick with Unity for the time being and I plan on porting Gongbat over at a later date with lots of new features.

A very cozy and chill little game. I really enjoyed it! Nice job! The music was extremely relaxing.

Howdy! Thank you very much for the compliments and feedback. Sadly I didn’t have enough time during the jam to add a lot of the gameplay mechanics I initially planned, so that’s why it feels pretty dull. I scrounged together the singular objective last minute after realizing only the farming mechanic was going to be ready.

Thankfully I plan on continuing development of this project to add things like multiplayer, combat, pumpkins with special mechanics, and more! Definitely give the project a follow if you’re interested.

Thank you very mucho! I spent most of my time designing due to burnout from programming during the work week and I think it shows. I've got a lot more in mind for gameplay that just didn't make the cut due to the time constraints. No SFX either yet sadly.

I plan on adding pumpkins/soil with mechanics of their own, online/local multiplayer, items that can be collected from inside the plants, and combat between farming phases. Planning on making this a bit of a long term project and we'll see where it goes! ;)

Awesome job! This is a really cool game with a lot of depth for such a short amount of time. Kind of difficult to get used to the controls and understand how to play at first but there's a lot of great polish here. Some things such as grabbing objects to place in your inventory feel a little clumsy at the moment because of how close you have to be to them in combination with the camera controls, but I'm sure this could be sorted out with some more finetuning. Overall I dig the game a lot.

This game rules! Great music, design, and execution. My only critique is there is a bit too much to learn all at once when starting out. By the end my first few years I started getting the hang of it (still managed >5000 score!). With some additional polish this could go a long way. Excellent job!

Nice game. It was really repetitive but had a decent concept. The artwork felt a little hodgepodge too but overall looked nice. I played until I got the score of 420 and then decided to let the turkey die. >:)

Once I figured out the initial menu controls it was an enjoyable little experience.

Was not able to get past the initial menu. It seemed like a nice experience based on that initial view though.

Good work on this game! It was really quick but I enjoyed the trash panda artwork.

The game looks really nice but it is awfully large and did not run very well at all on my PC sadly.

Great job with this cute little game. I played through the whole thing and really enjoyed the small story about the ghost. It was a bit difficult to control and determine what I was interacting with but overall it's a fun experience.

Tried downloading but ran into an issue when opening.

Nice job on this game! I felt it was a little difficult to control and didn't understand what exactly to do right away. However the art style is awesome and overall the autumn vibe is spot on. The platforming puzzles are enjoyable and I really enjoyed putting a bag over my little squirrel head.

Ahaha that license plate should definitely make a cameo! And absolutely, as soon as my other shooter project is released on mobile I will be focusing a bunch more on this project. Even then I’m planning on updating it as regularly as possible. Thanks for the compliments, keeping me very motivated! :3

Due to a lack of time management, lots of features didn't make it into the game yet. In a future update there will be much more to do as well as a scoring system and story elements. Thanks!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the game is not bugged- haha. I managed to create a ton of art assets (lots with full animations) pretty early in the jam, but well over half of the jam days were spent working at my full time job. It was definitely my lack of time management: I should have focused on a few enemies and mechanics rather than the whole plethora. In spite of the very unfinished product, I am glad you enjoyed the bare boned experience I had to offer. Thank you for the kind words! I will absolutely be continuing development on this project in the future.

Thanks again. I'm glad I could pull off everything I could within the jam constraints. And I may have to take you up on that offer when I'm available to jam again! Teamwork makes the load much more manageable, and I am always willing to collaborate.

Thank you very much! It was a combo of too large of a scope and having less time than expected during the weekdays, but I am still very happy with how this release turned out. Hopefully I can mold this into a stunning little arcade game in the near future.

Thank you! Hit the nail on the head- lots of the features ended up incomplete. I had to scrounge together what I could in order to make the jam deadline. My scope was much too large for the 10 day period (minus my full time job; happens every time!) and lots of gameplay elements were lost, as well as some story pieces that were going to better connect it to the film, but just never found their way in. Regardless, thank you for the feedback and I will be continuing development on this title. I think that it could bloom into a great little arcade-shooter!
