Oh my, it definitely feels impossible. It takes a little getting used to the controls and I'm not quite sure I have the best strategy, but am able to move along! Neat concept and I'd be interested to see someone skilled play the game to try to learn a better way forward. Keep up the cool work! :)

What a neat mechanic! I am terrible at beat games generally, but with how this played, it was a delightful mix of two genres almost. It did feel a bit hard, especially once the music got going, but once again, beat games are not my cup of tea. The art was good for what you were going for.

It took me a few seconds to understand the controls, but it was a neat concept! Solid execution and I really did feel rushed, avoiding the fire, trying to get the food to the soldiers. With a tutorial and maybe some different scenarios, I could see this taking off.

Wow, very neat mechanic! I feel like the art is very well done too and consistent. It would be interesting to see this game developed more with different things you could accomplish with this mechanic.

Yes, love these mechanics! I was able to understand roughly the items from the game type, but more information about each would be helpful. It was fun to play for a while and would be a great base to a deeper game!

I love the idea of the sprinkles shooting out. It fit the theme super well and was just different. Going through the various waves was fun and nice to see new enemies appearing. I think the brown donut was a bit too hard to find at times, where I would just be searching for it at the end of a wave. Impressive amount of content for a game jam!

The donut mothership! That was wonderful. It took me a second to figure out controls, but simple once it got going. It was fun, but the UI could use some work, like placement of the health bar. But great start for a game jam!

I love that donuts are just falling from the sky to come defeat you, haha. The objective is a bit unclear, but it is still fun to blast the donuts and pick up the tiny donuts on the floor.

This is one of my favorite games in the jam from the concept alone! I had thought about using the hole in a donut in my game, but didn't have the time. I'm so glad to see a game making that one of the main mechanics! The level design played well to this and I really enjoyed it. The aesthetic could use some work, but it is a start! Well done!

It took me a bit to figure out the controls. I think some progression or indicators of your health would be helpful, but it is an interesting start!

Neat game! I liked the style and gameplay mechanics. I felt a bit slow and that I had to rush to collect everything before the shopkeeper went away, but perhaps that was intended. Well done!

Fun infinite runner! It definitely takes some practice too. I feel like I got better at it over time and especially at shooting donuts at the cops, haha. I think it could use some polish as there was some clipping with the blocks, but a great start for a game jam! Love the art as well!

I really enjoyed this! It was a bit hard at first, but once I got going it was steady and fun, trying to get each next upgrade. It took some experimenting to figure out what each upgrade meant, but then when I figured it out, the pictures made sense. Well done!

There is something quite funny about the donut art, haha. I think it is easy to get the hang of the game after a few levels, so it might be interesting to see ways to disrupt the player and make things more difficult. Great start to a game and congrats on your first game jam!

I enjoyed the concept! I enjoy games like this and the fighting was an interesting twist on it. It was hard to tell how much damage my units were doing though, which would have been helpful. Very enjoyable though!

I really liked the concept. The puzzles were a good mix of difficulty, where they actually took some thought to get through. I liked the new elements as they were added too, especially using yourself as a way to rebound! Wild!

What an aesthetic! The art and music combined together created such a feeling! I was confused a bit by the controls and mechanics at first, but then I slowly understood. Perhaps I'm just bad at the game, but I wish there was a bit more of a tutorial/introduction of the controls. Either way, the art and music made it much easier to stick around and play. :)

The art is really polished for a game jam! It made it feel really special, flying around in this huge ship, delivering donuts, haha. I liked the concept, having to deliver inside of this war zone. I didn't even realize the balloons would attack until I got close to one, which filled me with a bit of adrenaline as I dried dodging the rockets while doing my peaceful deliveries. My main comment about improvement would maybe be changing how deliveries work. The profit doesn't tell me much, but maybe if I am racing against a timer or something, I would feel more incentive. Regardless, well done!

I really enjoyed this! I thought the concept was really innovative and I would be interested in seeing a larger game using this mechanic. It felt like a constant battle of recharging the towers and getting them back in time to deal with enemies. It was a bit messy moving around, but I think it added to the experience, making it feel that much more hectic.

Congratulations on your first game jam! I enjoyed it and keep going back for a higher score. My main comments would be just making it easier to notice when you have been hit and making the thin red projectiles more easy to see.
