Such a delicately sad song. The voice acting is very strong. The stark contrast of the two choices is a great start. Very comtemplative, and So much contrast!
I want that too, umbrosa!
I love this essay, love, love it! It's so well written it healed my soul!
Despite not really being involved in discourse, I was very much falling for the “good representation” you criticize here, this gave me a lot to think and ponder on in a very great way. Going to be thinking a lot about it.
Thank you for making it and for such a great submission for the jam!
Very nice collection of essays! I really like the variety, the first one and the one about reincarnation were my favourites. I've never seen Sailor Moon, but this gave me a lot of respect for the series. A small thing, the text in the Pluto essay is a bit hard to read.
Thank you and your sister for making this zine and for submitting to the jam!
Really liked the feel and feelings in this, the brief lenght of each prose feels right for the relaxed and sweaty summer love. Glowing and Househusband were my favourites, they made me smile.
[unrelated, but I started a jam to encourage folks to make more essay zines, if you'd like to join and make a new essay zine :D]
This was so interesting! I didn't really understood it (will need to reread), but I really enjoyed the experience of reading it. These sort of essays provinding insight and deep consideration into the depths of mundane acts are very fascinating. I really liked the presentation as well. Thanks for making it!
I really appreciate you taking the time to try again, print versions are hard to figure out! I mess it up all the time myself!
So, one thing I failed to consider when I first asked for a print version is that zines, to be printed, need to have their page count be a multiple of 4, so you would need to add two more pages to your zine (total of 20) so it can work as a print.
Another thing I also failed to consider it's that your zine is very colour heavy so it would take a lot of ink to print! The print version you have right now it's formated as a half-page, so it would make for some fairly big images for each page. (which is not really a issue issue)
In terms of the page order itself, with half pages zines you alternate the page sequence from left to right for each "sheet" (i don't know the best world to use, but your print zine has 9 sheets). So, if the cover is on the left side of the first sheet (like it currently is), in the next sheet, 'page 1' would be on the right side, then on the next sheet, 'page 2' would be on the right side and so on. (hard to explain, but if you can fold two sheets of paper, this will be easier to visualize)
It's probably too much work to work out a print version for this zine specifically, specially considering the files are old and tiny, but if you ever want to make a print version for a future zine, these are the templates I first used when I started figuring out how to make mine.
Sorry for not considering this stuff before, and thank you for all your effort in figuring all this stuff out!
Whatever works best for you! I'm not sure what size the pages of your zine are but a pdf so I can print and fold the zine myself would be great! (i have a print template for a quarter-page zine on my "how i made this zine" zine if that's useful)
