Thanks for the feedback on our game! We're happy to hear you appreciated the visual style, colors, and level design. We'll consider the sprint feature for future projects; it's a great suggestion. A lot of complaints were about the character controller which was made hastily, so no surprise there ! :')

On another note, Maplewood Mysteries was a standout! The autumn setting was spot-on, and the twist of playing as a raccoon detective was a delightful surprise. Your attention to detail really shone through. Well done!

Thanks for pointing that out! We're glad the graphics resonated with you. We do recognize the challenges with exploration and the story flow. We initially had more ideas of gameplay and "puzzles", and the controller was done too quickly It's something we'll reflect on. Your perspective gives us a fresh look at where we can improve.

Thank you so much for the feedback on our game! We're thrilled you enjoyed the visuals and noted the scratch effect on the cards. We'll definitely consider your advice about the player's movement for future projects. By the way, BooCake Cafe gave us some good laughs! The wacky controls for the kitty's paw were both challenging and entertaining. It's a fun twist! Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game. We acknowledge the interaction clarity could have been better. Your understanding, especially considering our 2-day development window, is much appreciated.

The concept of searching for "The Autumn Planet" is incredibly imaginative! I'm impressed with your ability to create such a detailed and intriguing game, especially considering it's your first time using Godot. Your dedication to the project really shines through, and the idea of keeping notes for clues adds a nostalgic touch. Great job!

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the visuals and music. Discovering that campfire is one of those little moments we hoped players would stumble upon to make the experience richer. Your kind words are truly encouraging, especially considering the limited time we had to bring this game to life. Thanks for playing Autumn's Lost Recipe!

I had the pleasure of playing your game, and I must say, controlling a leaf-loving cat was absolutely adorable! The concept is unique, and the execution was really polished. Kicking trees and collecting leaves felt satisfying and fun. It's evident that a lot of thought and care went into the game. Well done!

Thank you so much for playing it and for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that the color scheme resonated with you and that you found the game cozy. We're aware of the bug you mentioned with the Escape button and text box, but it was 5am when I discovered it so .... It's encouraging to know that you enjoyed the game despite this issue.  Thanks again!

I got a chance to play your game, and I must say, it's an engaging experience! The idea of collecting keys to progress through locked areas adds a nice layer of challenge and excitement. The journey through the dark cave was a great touch; it added a bit of mystery to the experience. I can't imagine how much work you put into this, especially with personal commitments taking up your time. Kudos for pushing through all that and making it to the finish line!

A lot of effort went into creating a setting that would capture the essence of autumn. Thank you for your compliment! I really enjoyed playing your game, the  unique graphics are absolutely stunning! They really add to the overall experience and make it memorable. Great work!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed your journey through the forest. It's wonderful to hear that you had a fun time playing the game. :D

"Autumn's Lost Recipe" invites you into a serene forest at the cusp of fall, brimming with the colors and comforts of the season. But all is not well; the village's annual autumn party is at risk. The cherished recipe for a beloved seasonal dish has gone missing, and it's up to you to find it before the celebration begins.

In this short first-person adventure game, you'll explore a detailed forest environment with one goal : solving the heartwarming mystery. As you step into this cozy world, you'll be enveloped by the nostalgic sights and sounds of autumn.

Controls:

  • WASD: Move your character through the forest.
  • Rotate with Mouse: Look around to explore your surroundings.
  • Left Click: Interact with objects, clues, and puzzles.
  • Escape: Open the menu and access your inventory, where you'll store the items and clues you collect.

Are you ready to be the hero the village needs? Step into "Autumn's Lost Recipe" and rediscover the warmth of community and the joys of a simple, cozy life.

We didn't have that much time to make the game so we made it in 2 days.

Hey man ! Thank you very much for your post!
I'm glad you enjoyed it overall. Thank you again :)

Hehe take your time :D

This is a very wise way of doing things :D

I also like your other sounds, you got yourself a follower ;)

Yeah, then you have good ears ;)

Thank you so much! Hehe, I really wanted to mimic steps, you know something crawling on us, with the jumpscare at the end, and the finale where you get caught. So I'm glad you think it fits well !

I am by no means an expert in music theory, so I'll have to look up almost every term like "chromatic mediant harmonic"! But I'm looking forward to it.

This really is my first time. I used Bosca Ceol because this is like, the only software I know of... But it really got me interested in making more music, even for my games.

Thank you again for your post. I really enjoyed yours, the xylophone is integrated well and the kind of UFO SFX is gorgeous! (Sorry I can't describe it as good as you did for mine...)

Yup man as I was expeting from you it is a very good song !! congrats, love it so much.
