Hello! I'm looking for people to test Competitive Play, the ranked mode in Missile Massacre. No download, no login.

What it is:

Ranked 1v1, best of 3 rounds. You create a Player Pass and launch a match.

How to get started:

  1. Go to missilemassacre.com
  2. Click COMPETITIVE PLAY
  3. Click NEW PASS and enter a name
  4. Click ENTER COMPETITIVE ARENA - match starts automatically

That's it.

What I'm looking for:

  • Did the Player Pass create and load correctly? Did your MMR update after the match?
  • Any lag, disconnects, or moments where the game felt broken?
  • Did the best-of-3 format feel right? Too short? Too long?
  • Any feedback welcome in the comments or DM.

Thank you for your time!

Really appreciate you flagging that. I've been thinking about it, too.

I've moved away from the lootbox framing and replaced it with Mech Collection. Players earn mechs by hitting milestones in the game (Double Kill, etc.), and there's no gambling involved. It's purely skill-based progression. I'll still keep an eye on how those laws develop. Good advice.

On the competitive angle, totally agree. I've been building out a Competitive Play ranked mode (currently playable in Beta) and working towards tournament play.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback. It genuinely helps.

Thank you! No worries at all! This is such awesome feedback.

I've been working on a lootbox system, and I wanted to thank you with this Mech Unlocked card. It can be used to play the mech in the game, if you're interested. I'm hoping the lootbox system will be a fun addition.

Yes, your observations are what I was hoping to achieve with the game. I think you might have been playing someone else, which is cool, too. Your strategy is especially helpful to know. I wanted the game to have an element of surprise. I kept going back and forth on whether I should add player position indicators, and so far I've decided to keep it mysterious to allow players to boost and drop in from surprise positions.

Also, really glad the C toggle is useful. Your rooftop example is great feedback.

Thanks so much for spending the time to play and write this up!

Thank you! Yes, camera tilt is a great idea. Press C to toggle a 7.5 degree tilt. Aiming remains horizontal. Hope that feels ok!

Multiplayers are for humans! Although, an AI could mimic a human. These days, never know.

Thanks for the helpful feedback!

Yes, Shift is now bound to fire. Also, you are correct, the click is being lost, at the Firefox level. When the game captures your mouse for aiming with pointer lock, Firefox doesn't seem to pass mouse button clicks through to the game. Chrome does, but Firefox seemingly does not.

Shift gets around the issue, so hopefully that works. Thanks again and super helpful!

Thank you for the feedback! Both issues are now fixed. WASD movement is now disabled until you click to enter the game, so it should be clearer when you're actually in. Mouse aim is left/right only (no up/down), and the controls panel now reflects that. Let me know if you run into anything else! Good feedback!

Hello! I'm looking for people to stress-test the QUICK PLAY multiplayer in Missile Massacre, a 3D mech shooter that runs directly in your browser. No download, no login required.

I'm hoping people can connect at the same time to see if the server holds up under real conditions.

Play here: https://www.missilemassacre.com

Click QUICK PLAY and you're in.

Click INVITE PLAYERS to invite anyone via url.

Mainly looking for:

  • Does multiplayer connect reliably?
  • Any lag, desyncs, or players not appearing?
  • Anything else that felt broken or confusing

Welcome any feedback in the comments or DM me. Even "it worked" or "it didn't" helps.

Thank you for your time!
