Hi Kiwi! The ideal number of players is 3-5, though you could probably stretch up to 6. There is no GM. The average play time is up to you, though most games in this system benefit from multiple sessions. I would recommend allowing for 5 three hour sessions as an average length to tell a satisfying story, though you can play longer or shorter.

I've usually done an optional $3 payment for playbooks. They're not big money makers, and I'd rather people play them than not, so that's why the payment is optional - but I think $3-5 is a fair ask.

There shouldn't be any licensing as long as you say it's a fan playbook and link to the original game.

I played this game a few months ago as a one shot, and I just keep thinking about it. It's completely delightful - probably my favorite one shot I've ever played. The vibes are impeccable, and there's enough information to set up play without not knowing what to do, but also we felt free to make our own conclusion to the story. As soon as the full game comes out, I am pressing "buy" as fast as my human fingers can go.

This is a beautiful, scary, sad game, and I hope that the author is okay. To tell the truth, I haven't usually been that interested in auto-bio games. This one was so well written that it immediately pulled me in. Taylor, if you ever read this, I'm sorry for what  happened to you, and I hope you find peace. You are lovable.

All the rules you need are in the pdf! It's built on that system, but you don't need any other supplies.

I would love to hear what kind of relationships others are focusing on! There are so many amazing ideas suggested. I think I'll be focusing on co-housing and found family relationships, but I'd love to hear what other people are working with.
