Can you describe anything about the assassination itself, especially any check you have to pass and who sent them? Its ok if you dont have all of them, but tracking requirements for passing checks is the main goal here!

 knowing more general story details also lets me know if its possible for multiple types of assassins during the same event trigger. There's a few turn based ones I've into that have different assassinations on the same turn

Thats their emotional support assassin, yknow, just in case!

Ooo that makes sense now! I must have simply missed it in my more recent runs since im skipping through a lot more

Sidenote, for the doc i do want to have specific values for whats needed for checks (such as basic level, expert level etc)!

This was a good reminder to work on this again tho lol. Got too silksonged -v-;;

Yep, thats on there!

All names are blacked out, so you specifically have to highlight them to see whose sending who :) couldnt find a better way to spoiler stuff, and due to name lengths i felt rot13'ing them would still make it a bit too obvious at times

Otherwise, its just a list of the choices/checks needed to pass and I'm hoping to mark which ones are 'escapes' (no reveal) and reveals of the sender over time.

I tried to keep it as spoiler free as possible!

Thanks!! Adding them now~ I've gotten some of these ones before but I only started writing them down today so i didn't have all the details -v-;;

I'm collecting information on the various assassins, who sends them, and what checks you need to reveal them!

This initial pass was just from one run of playing Really Badly so far! It's really interesting to see whose sending what lol

Apologies for the formatting; I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do so. Most assassinations have multiple branching paths to resolve

haha yeah; i mainly stuck to your guide, and was just trying to figure out how to get that missing piece. per previous replies, I was throwing spaghetti at it til it Worked (though i had my suspicions on what was needed. I noticed many of the electors accepted Zorana really quickly in your guide and I had gotten interesting tidbits when I had to do quests for those same electors)

I normally pick up Lorkas for media skill otherwise -v-

There's definitely other places skills can be rearranged and I never made it to Mau either

if you're interested in updating this guide, I've found a path to getting there on the latest update (0.7.21)! Your guide & the dev hints was super helpful getting this ending lol; I had gotten to turn 27 on accident before and was very determined to figure out ubj gb orpbzr n yhzra. It definitely could use some work to be better; the final vote is exactly 17 by I'm pretty sure sheer luck (I was so focused on turn 27 that I forgot to think about everything after it whoops)

That does make sense! I think I've only been escaping then.

Huh, now I'm especially confused - for the assassination attempts I escaped, I don't recall there being any indication of who sent them or any option to remove someone after. Am I supposed to be speaking to security right after one?? I can't think of anything else that would start an investigation so I could denounce the right person. I'm not revealing the rot13 just in case.

My assumption so far has been that if i try too hard to ignore any specific group, they will also try to murk me, but now I'm considering doing it purposely to get rid of people i dont want to focus on if I can figure out how to identify assassins.

I considered working on media but yeah, i think specific numbers would really just make me overthink things. Hilariously the runs where i ignored interaction/empathy and guessed elector's positions on vibes have gone just as well as runs where I am getting those skills. Trying to figure out how to win specific votes has definitely been my strategy currently, but I've been running into too many assassins to get enough information. I've been trying to figure out which electors' quests use the same or similar skill checks to hopefully optimize where I'm spending time.

Thank you for the advice! I might be terminally stupid but dang it i want that ending!

I havent been making a good habit of saving every couple turns, but unfortunately with the assassination attempts I've been running into, a turn or two wouldn't help enough. Its often that the skills for an escape are completely opposite of whatever skills I've been working on. I've been hearing the snake advice a lot, but I dont want to be locked into using just the one pet D:

I have noticed that most skill checks can be passed in several ways, but from reading the options, I felt like sometimes the skill check options read like they'd give worse results? Am i overthinking it, or is it that skill check options end up more neutral, thus angering other groups less?

I knew you could disqualify people, but I hadn't figured out how - is there a way to investigate whose doing what assassination then?

I tried impressing the admiral with the starfall game but he still wanted me to do his quest, which is a lot of investment. I'm really not sure what else to do to get him; I've only succeeded once, and it was too late to be helpful. I'd been going for him since his quest needed skills for impressing at least a few people as well as the quest in neutral space.

I didn't think I was putting enemies together but dang, maybe I am??

I might do some runs with intrique just to get that info, thank you!

Oh i didnt think about using allure that much cause ive mainly been rejected! Also because the first couple times i tried it, it sounded like a romance specific thing and i was afraid i'd cause problems by flirting with everyone -v-;; I've actually never messed with blackmail, since I'm mainly trying to go a nicer route, but also because at this point I'm pretty sure more people would try to kill me

Yeah I figured that assassins were always caused by someone - since I've been ignoring cliques, I know I'm pissing off plenty of people. I know general advice in that regard would be very difficult, maybe a question like "which groups did you pander to?" would be more helpful?

I've gotten better at pissing off less people during events, though I didn't think about the possibility of some of them also have negative effects on other groups unless it was really obvious! Ill have to pay more attention to that.

At the moment I'm kind of angling to learn what skills will generally cover Not Dying, rather than trying to avoid death traps all together. Most of my successful escapes were completely accidental, and it seemed like every assassination attempt needed different skills to pass.

Thank you for the advice!!

A lot of my assassin problems have been occurring in rounds where ive taken the goop pet instead of the snake, so im often stuck in the lower half of the wheel. I feel like even when I'm trying to be really nice, I'll still run into a ton of assassins after a bit??

My last run i heavily focused on rhetoric+etiquette and still ran into a bunch of problems. I've been improving from starting out pretty negative in most planets to closer to neutral by figuring out those events you mentioned tho! It might change later on, but it seems like in at least some cases you can still pick decent choices even without passing skill checks? I feel like theres been a couple skill checks where the unlocked option read as worse even tbh.

Thank you for the advice!! Definitely should help -v-

edit 2: holy moly i've finagled a win! with exactly 17 votes :,) thank you for the advice it sincerely helped so much <3

Edit: i have somehow looped around to accidentally getting a secret ending. what the heck.

So Ive played some of LLTQ and I've read a bunch of the advice here already, but I am trying avoid major spoilers so I'm a bit nervous to translate anything people are encoding ^^;;. Ive already gotten one thing spoiled for me that way unfortunately, though thankfully it was something I had considered might be a possibility at least. I don't think I'm struggling with the basics of the game but I can't help but feel like I'm missing something vital? Please pardon me for forgetting names I'm writing this on my phone after getting mad at the game and closing down for the night lol

Also before anyone panics this is NOT a critique of the game's mechanics or anything negative! I'm just the kind of person who struggles with this sort of type of strategy until I get some direction from soneone else 'v')b Ive been having a lovely time with the game so far I just also want a win -v-;;

All my runs have been failures so far, mostly due to getting locked into assassinations i couldn't backtrack out of. The ones during turn events don't annoy me too much, but its been extremely frustrating running into the ones during mood phases where both moods will kill me. im not against save scumming but it does get a bit overwhelming so i dont think to save that often either OTL

I've gotten to endgame twice, only to be murdered right before the final election by an unknown person and I don't think I've run into any information that definitively confirms who that is so i can do literally anything to counter the event. Any tips on how to figure out that situation would be fantastic, because as much as a struggle as it is to get to endgame, its infinitely more frustrating to get there and perish out of the blue without much direction on how to fix the situation. like i have my guesses on who is it, but not how to stop it, notably because i have not found any way to interact with the people I suspect. I still would like to avoid spoilers if I can, but I recognize that i cant avoid all of them if i want any progress lol. Things i think that would be helpful would be like. A specific turn that i should have found out the situation by maybe? A person i Absolutely need to talk to, or a skill i need?

Im assuming the assassination trouble is largely due to me completely ignoring the npc cliques because my brain can only hold so much at once and my notes are slow going, but I don't think I'm deliberately pulling people who hate each other together?? I can usually only get like one person from each planet I visit for sure on my side, and thats usually as a cabinet member.

 I saw someone mention that only going for a highly skilled cabinet maybe increases assassination attempts though, and in my experience that does ring true, but i dont understand how to balance gaining ministry skills vs normal ones. Practically every turn, theres a normal skill i need to be working on, and given the mood system i have to prioritize skill gains with mood bonuses, with very little room for the other skills. I tried training ministry skills during non optimal moods for whatever route i was going for, but the skills I'm missing out from then are often also important. (Im not afraid of unoptimal normal skill trainings to be clear, its just not often that its been useful for me to do so)

My initial go to route was to get the head religious lady and the kid from the twin worlds, and the guy who already is going to vote for you, then pick the next direction to go to. ive also been picking up the lady on the planet next door for law

My two route focuses so far have been mainly empathy/interaction skills, or spaceships/gunnery to try to get the admiral guy (and the side quest in "neutral space" which i have been able to do at least partially!), but ive never been able to impress him. I never seem to get enough skill in time to impress him before he becomes hostile - and focusing spaceships first tends to kill me since I cant spare time to work on the various random skills that keep me from dying to random assassins. Going the religious lady route  at first i think kept me from dying since there were a few relavent skills?? I guess?? But also at the same time prevents me from getting a decent amount of interaction skills or focusing on anything else important

 Side note of oh my god there are so many different assassins and they all want me specifically all at the same time. Im pretty sure mood phase after turn 15 is going to always spike my anxiety now.

Ive never denounced anyone so far, again due to ignoring the cliques currently. Given my track record with assassins and that when i have gotten to vote Im usually doing alright, I am unsure denoucing anyone would help my strategy.

 Is actually possible at any point to talk to the rival guy, or are his options just there for flavor?

I think the only other thing I've done consistently is largely ignore the shadow situation? i'm sure Something is happening there, but I havent really had the ability to get enough science in time to tinker with the situation - though i did reach the bit where Zorana tells the security lady she thinks something is up with her fathers death still. I liked the line in my first run of the game where Zorana was talking with her friends after they hear the rumors about the shadow still searching forever and him being a legend in the making so i keep trying to get that line again -v-;;

I didnt really see a difference when i tried going after him instead but to be fair that run probably died too early for events to crop up

Most of this has just been a ramble, apologies, but man I feel so lost! Ive been getting a lot of tasty pieces of lore here and there, but I'm struggling to find the next piece of the puzzle ( and desperately hoping its not mood related events Im missing. Im already frustrated with the skills enough OTL)

Hi! I have a fbx model but its not loading when I try to import it - is there something specific to the formatting of the file I need to do?
