Prototype was smooth to play and also absolutely gorgeous so far. Still a little nervous about the main page burn mechanic since the prototype didn't feature it but I think with your scope the playtesting needed will be done. In Addition to that, I found the character dialogue text to be a bit hard to read at times with how disjointed it was. Outside of those two things this was an extremely solid prototype and I'm really looking forward to the next build!

Concept and take is an insanely unique take on the theme big applause on that front. The prototype also looks great so far with the backgrounds feeling just detailed enough next to the characters. Only worry is the synergy between the styles of the background and the character sprites as they feel extremely different stylistically. I assume however, these are all just placeholders and they will be finalized at the end of the next sprint. Good luck and excited to see where you guys take the concept!
Really cool to see this concept being done in 3D! You guys have a really nice scope and overall gameplay loop. The prototype also plays well so far. My only major concern at the moment is how fast the player's HP starts to drain the second it turns 20:00. It feels a bit fast and having to always go right back to the Great Tree when it happens may discourage the player from exploring. Other than that excited to see how this looks in the future, keep up the great work!
Having the game burn away as a result of you taking too much time is such a cool idea and really compliments the themes you're going for. Everything here is insanely solid and the art concepts are gorgeous as well. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is how the Page Burning Timer (tm) would work in game based on how much it wittles away at the screen a time but that's something to do playtesting with more than anything. Additionally, your production plan seems rather barren and too simplified to follow but that may be a personal thing. Super excited to see how this comes to fruition!
Overall concept and vibes are super solid! Concentrating on invasive plants and biodiversity was a great call especially considering where most of your team is from. I wish your document went in a little bit more detail on how exactly the gameplay loop is played especially with how information gathering could go.
Really cute idea, can't wait to be a little plant robot and run around to solve puzzles. Designated locations for plants is probably a smart move. I think possibly on top of the collectables telling story they could also assist or solve the puzzles in different ways. This could maybe help further push the theme of how plant diversity is important and give greater incentive to go after them outside of just getting the true ending. Overall, nice work! Excited to see how the game turns out :]
I think the rough ideas for this are really cool especially your visual style and intent. Your team's research is also very thorough and well thought out. However the actual Gacha mechanic seems a little half-baked in what it provides for the player. Perhaps adding plants that do some good but also have a trade off may be a good idea? Additionally, the mechanical goal of the game seems to heavily betray the intended message. It reads to me as to just accumulate money and upgrade yourself rather than ecological restoration.
this game is so weird i love it. the characters, the dialogue, the music, its all so funky and weird which is perfect for a game based around liminal space. my only criticism would be that the walking speed is a bit slow which wouldn't be a problem for this type of game except, judging from key fetch quest, for the fact theres going to be a lot of backtracking. other than that really excited for the full release!
