Thanks for your comment! Yeah, as the comments say, we need to balance the background a bit to make the characters more readable. ^^

Great game! Quite a learning curve though. The ambiance and overall feeling when playing is very cool! I stupidly died, smashed by the extraction ship. A lot of fun! It’s a bit hard to see far away though. At first I was quite confused, but the atmosphere and gameplay kept me engaged. Well done on this submission! Side note: The VA is very nice; I like it.
Very good ambiance and visuals! Well-made dithering on the buildings. Great gameplay mechanics btw. Sound was repetitive but nice, the repetitiveness adds to the ambiance but is also a bit tiring. Maybe adding some variations would help. Besides that, well put together and great concept!Very good ambiance and visuals! Well-made dithering on the buildings. Great gameplay mechanics btw. Nice game! Combat is fun, and using different weapons is fun. I particularly like the double machine guns. Very fun. It could benefit from camera shake to give even more immersion. It could also be cool to find mecha upgrades, like something to jump higher, go faster, or things like that. I think it could also benefit from some shaders to add more depth, and maybe an engaging combat song. Other than that, I had fun!
Well done !
Restarting from zero didn’t really bother me because I feel like the game is pretty fast-paced. So in reality, once you get the hang of it, starting over from scratch doesn’t make that much of a difference.
It might be a bit annoying the first time, but after that it didn’t really bother me. That said, if you’re planning to make the game longer, you might want to think about adding a checkpoint system!
I really liked the concept and the theme. Nice to think of mechs in the Greek period! The gameplay is nice for a good 15 min. Then it gets repetitive. Didn’t find all the golds, but the in-air fighting is fun. I love the mecha design. They look neat! Well-made game! The world could have been made a bit smaller to avoid long moments of just navigating without much to do. That could increase fight frequency and discovery interest, but reduce the game’s lifespan.
The mecha movements are dope! Well done on that. As you described, it was the main focus. I did really like the mini game where you need to destroy vehicles as fast as possible. Was really fun. There is a lot of potential in a rocky mountain battleground or some hilly forest of some kind. Might be missing a bit of post-processing to make the visuals pop, and maybe some juice around the flying disks when hit, and spatialized sound when they are shot so we know where they come from.
No issues with running the game! The overall experience is fun and exciting. I had at least 15 min of fun with different retries. Didn’t complete the game though. I’m not that good at fast puzzle games. The music is well chosen and the small minigames work well! I think the game could benefit a lot from a small tutorial/onboarding phase that slowly teaches the gameplay. And for a fast-paced puzzle game with platformer movement, maybe making the robot movements snappier with a faster response could help a lot with the controls. The art is nice and well suited. Great job!
I have mixed feedback about the game. My girlfriend struggled with the double doors puzzle and got a bit frustrated, eventually giving me back the mouse and keyboard. However, for me, completing the double doors puzzle was really satisfying.
The boss fight at the end felt progressive, which made me feel like I needed to improve my skill level in the game.
I didn’t really understand how I was able to perform a full dash at first. I thought it happened because I was pressing the space key, but is it actually when I’m standing still?
So, to be clearer: I really liked the boss fight, the double doors puzzle, and the tutorials, which felt very progressive and intuitive. I would like to see more of the game.
It was honestly pretty hard near the end, because our organization kind of fell apart a bit due to some bugs in game and lack in the game balance. Using Three.js for our game instead of Unity also made things way harder, especially since we wanted to try making our own ECS framework (like a good and a bad idea).
Because of that, the final game isn’t 100% where we wanted it to be and we just avoided some of our core features (sadly), but we learned a lot from the experience. So even though it was messy and difficult, we’re still pretty satisfied with the project overall!
Great work! Love the machine gun, like everyone who played the game imo. The shotgun just feels a little bad compared to the pistol in terms of playing sensation, maybe due to the lack of knockback when shooting at targets. I also loved the style of the shop owner, and the music is really good! Adding it was a good idea.
Great game! Keep going like this, you’re doing an awesome job!
First of all, great job on making this game!
I don’t like this type of game, but the style was really fun. The fact that you gather a lot of sockets for this makes this game so fun. I think the process of making the game was fun (or stressful idk), and I hope you had a great time making it.
Keep going, I will probably test your other game.
It was really fun for me. I also loved how you made the mechas; it was so innocent, I love it!
