Hey, Roma-bi7! 😄
I think I’ve finally figured out your secret mission on Itch.io! You’re going from devlog to devlog asking the exact same thing. One day, you’ll find the ultimate game... and it’ll be packed with elves. 😂
So, rest easy: yes, there will be elves in Lands of Folklore. But they’re still waiting for me to finish building the world they’ll live in.
In fact, I'll tell you about one of them—even though I probably shouldn't; it was an ancient secret, hidden deep within the World-Forger's codex!

🏹 Elara Swiftwind
Race: Elf
Archetype: Archer
'The arrow doesn't wait. The wind doesn't forgive. Neither do I.'
Her story is still being written, but one thing is clear: if she ends up in your party, you’d better not stand in her way when she draws her bow.
And since you’re asking about elves... let me make you a promise.
My goal isn't just to make a game, but an adventure editor. So, if someday someone wants to create a campaign with an entire kingdom of elves, they’ll be able to do it.
That being said... let me finish the hammer before I forge the sword. ⚒️😄"

Hey, Coyrestaurado! I'm glad you like the art, but don't get too excited just yet, kid.
This Ferrari is currently up on the lift, with its guts scattered all over the garage floor and my hands covered in grease up to my elbows. I just finished cleaning 20 years of grime off the chassis (refactoring is a pain in the neck, you know), and even though it’s shining bright, we haven’t even turned on the headlights yet.
We’re working on it, so grab a seat, a nice soda, and enjoy the show. When this beast is able to tear through a dungeon at 144 FPS without losing a single mirror along the way, you’ll be among the first to know.
As Jack Burton always says: ‘Never drive faster than you can see… and right now the fog is very, very thick.’
Thanks for the support! 🐭🧡
Hey, Skane! How's it going? I tried reading some of the pages you posted. The result: My poor eyesight couldn't make out most of the text because the font was so tiny.
I’m not a huge fan of Japanese settings for RPGs, but I do like to see how different creators approach the genre. If you’re looking for feedback, try re-uploading some of those pages in a larger size, or post excerpts as PDFs—maybe that will help you get some feedback.
Best regards.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm posting devlogs for my project, Lands of Folklore. I'm not sure if this forum has that feature, but if it doesn't, moderator, please don't kill me! I swear I've been reading the rules, and that's what I understood! XD. A few days ago, I started keeping a development log for my project. This is my first time doing this, so constructive criticism is welcome.
Lands of Folklore aims to be both a complete game and an intuitive tool for creating your own games inspired by the Blobber dungeon crawler genre.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you like it.
