This is really cool! I liked the puzzles and the implementation of the time loop device.

As a fan of the movie Gladiator, and that I've been playing Expedition 33 recently(a game with a lot of parry mechanics), this game pleasantly surprised me.

Haha nice. The visuals and audio are really good.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! It definitely could use some sfx, but the lack of them(really just due to my laziness) was the namesake of the title 'SciLance' paired with the fact that it's a game with a Sci-Fi esque setting and the theme of the jam was, well, balance.

Haha, the wackiness of the physics was a bit intentional, and I'm glad someone else enjoyed that as well. Unfortunately, the brainpower used to make the puzzles was not sufficient to remind me to make an end screen after the 4th and last level(gotta remember that for next time lol).

Glad you enjoyed the game!

I'm so sorry you weren't able to play it! Other people have told me the game bugs out on some displays. I also had to set the resolution in the game itself, which makes it difficult to fix during the jam.

Thank You!

Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback! I also thought the controls were kinda floaty, and I'll look into it more after the jam ends.

Thank you so much!

I liked the art + music. The concept and overall gameplay were really fun. Alongside the score, you could add a timer to see how long the player has survived, as well as a pause menu. It would also be nice if there were a bit more of a rest in between enemy waves to have more time to adjust the balances. I also feel like the controls of the game would be more suited for a gamepad.

Overall, I enjoyed the game!
