The one making the art would also be me! (solo dev) But yeah, even just outfits would require a ton of work to redraw by hand all of Maya's sprites and frames of animations, and to account for the 2 states of clothing disrepair (fully clothed, half/underwear exposed). 

From the start of the game, progress from area to area: beach -> castle -> forest -> hills -> city. At the end of the city, fight and defeat the boss, then open the golden chest there, it holds the key to the hallways. Return to the castle, unlock the gate, and progress through the hallways. Defeat the boss at the end, and open another golden chest, it contains the key to the dungeon.

Hi! Permanent effects and/or transformations affecting Maya permanently have been a rather popular demand indeed. But the sad truth is that because I didn't originally plan for such mechanics, implementing them now would be a hack job and be really cumbersome to program, which would break more things, etc. So unfortunately, not happening. But I'm taking notes of all these suggestions, and will strongly consider designing my eventual next game with these in mind.

For legal reasons, I myself can not publicly offer the game's assets, sorry.

They will affect gameplay and change how Maya behaves. More will be added, and their effects fully implemented in upcoming versions.

I'm glad to hear it! I'm nearing the end of the development, so hopefully it won't be long until the final version. At that time, I will make an annoucement here and on my other pages, to let everyone know so no one misses the full release.

Yes, you can use the debug/cheat keys. Press F9 to instantly get all skills. Then make your way back left to the castle area. Additionally, you may also press F10 to be put in front of the Beach Boss, then defeat him and open the chests to get the crimsom scepter. This item unlocks the ability to teleport around, so then just open the teleport screen and TP to the castle.

Hello! Activate that switch near Maya, and then rush (use dash and slide all the time) to the left, past the aquarium, down the leaf stairs, slide in the long narrow tunnel, dash after that all the way to the right, go up one floor, then to the left to enter that same room from the other side. The switch is timed and the gate to the right closes if you're not fast enough.

There is a pattern in that area with the moving platforms. After you get past it, you'll reach the Hill's Boss. Defeat her and you will acquire the Sliding Tackle skill for Maya. Then return to the main castle hall, go up the stairs, go right, slide under the gate and descend the ladder and enter the mirror. This unlocks the gallery. Then buy the glass orbs from the witch to unlock all of the scenes.

No worries, I will make it more clearer:
The eventual final version of this game (v1.0) will be a premium product (likely costing $10). It will be eventually sold on this page and on steam.
So as of the time of this comment, the current version available in this page is a free DEMO (with optional donation). In fact, it's even more than a simple demo, more like an OPEN BETA, because it gives way more than 70% of the final product's content. I did it as a courtesy to all of my great audience here.
That said, this current FREE version here will NOT be updated anymore, so if you desire to keep up with new recent versions, those can be downloaded from my patreon page.
And finally, once the eventual final version begins to be sold here, this current free version will be removed and replaced with an actual DEMO, that will have only about 10% of the content, only the 1st stage of the game, etc.

Yes. In the gallery room, open the book and it will show a list of all scenes. The ones that display a square with Maya's face on the left side of the screen are the longer ones with dialogue. Make sure that you bought the globes from the witch, and also that bad endings are enabled in the advanced options menu.

Go back to the main castle hall, walk to the witch, and but the crystal globes from her. These will allow you to spawn enemies inside the gallery arena.

This feature needs to be expanded further still, but it's supposed to give special traits to Maya, which makes her behave differently, affects how much essence she can farm, changes her powers, etc.

The .rar and .zip are equal. Some people prefer one over the other, but it's technically the same.

1. No key for that door yet. It will come in a future update.

2. That's an out of bounds area. I'll either make it inaccessible, or add a neat secret there ;-)

Thank you for your suggestions. Those ideas are great, but it would be difficult to implement, because the framework of the game didn't support it, and it would be very arduous to refactor it to do so.

Hey, yeah this is the first time hearing about this bug. So I'm assuming that the title screen is ok? In the advanced options in the menu, there is an options for zoom, is it toggled on or off? Does starting a new game works? Please give me more info and I'll try to help you!

Rare and unheard of bug! Could it be maybe your keyboard? Or are you using a gamepad? Which operational system are you using? Please provide some more information on your platform, and I'll try to help you.
