Really fun super polished!

This felt like it was from a weeklong jam! very nice work!

Cool idea! I just wish there was a way to speed up the time for my death because it was pretty annoying to wait each time

Really cute story, but it felt hard not to end up in a death sprial of being noticed by 10 different people!

This one is so simple and sweet but oh my I love ti so much, the game oozes juice and even awoke the speedrunner inside me. got my time down to 1:31:10 and I loved that ending. it made me genuinely happy for the lil'guy

Very Unique! I liked the multi-tasking aspect but the mouse framing felt a little hard to control. I do really like the story of the skiers running from a monster its really fun!

Loved this one, Such a hectic tower defense game, I love the art and I love the strategy behind it!

Nice! I wish when I died it would replay my current level instead of kicking me to menu but overall very good!

Cool community project, I also love the finger break, both for people who are actually clicking and to mess with autoclickers

This soundtrack rocks, the art is sick and I the blocking of the arrows felt awesome!!

The fact that there are other users work in the game is so fantastic, I loved it so much

I liked grinding it out! good to see scratch used, feels like a blast from the past!

I love the little slime guys, the movement feels very slippery but I think that is a good thing given the overall theme of the game. I like how you slowly shrink depending on health. Good work!

I like the art a lot! I was a little lost but I felt like there are some great bones here

I *really* liked this one, you did a very good job on this. I gear system was so unique and engaging, I always had to be interacting with this game. I liked most of the maps, they felt fun and the progression with each track requiring more switching felt very good. I loved the last track, it felt like I truly needed to use every mechanic at my disposal. I like the story, although basic its kinda nice to see someone deal with a "loss" of someone who is still here but different. I think theirs a lot of room for more exploration if you add more levels and flesh out that character more.  Although, I did not like the dessert track(not the final track the first desert yellow track) You liked to use really sharp turns at some places which felt very off. the whole idea of the gears system is to go fast so having levels which require precision with the very large and slow turning radius felt a little bad. Same with the lizards, I was going to fast to really avoid them at times. I also really wish there was more use for the off-road gear, the final track only has one section where you really need it and it would be fun to have other places which require more use of it. Great job overall though I think you made something really special!

I loved it, super creative idea, I wish there was a way to have like a ruler so I could get a better visual of pixel spacing!

loved it!

Just a heads up your game is not frozen! there is a 30 Second Delay so you can read the lore and the rules fully!

https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3964390 her ya go, good luck!

Sound didn't work for me and I could not fullscreen it but its a fantastic concept and pretty great execution, great work!

Hey thanks for checking it out! There is a way to regain oxygen by holding interact on a certain object, but this was something we did not explain well at all, thanks for playing tho!

thats me btw :) this account has an old name! thank you so much for playing

Its crazy what you guys did with a week, truly amazing stuff, The control scheme is unique, the atmosphere is nice, heck there's a coherent story(not to mention the genuine terror I felt). The only small critique I have is that the text sometimes gets way to pixelated to read unless you angle the camera just right. Fantastic work!

Yeahhh, we can't make a browser build either without the audio not coming through, we are using the Fmod plugin, but also are using C# which godot for some reason doesn't have support for. A person on our team got it to compile but no audio which really sucks

Hello! two things, A: Love the Zaku pfp, its my favorite suit of gundam. B: there isn't red herrings, the second puzzle is a mult-input where you have to put them in a order, this is on us, we didn't give proper indication that the second one was multiple, thanks for giving us a try anyways :)

Yay! im glad that made the game more fun! those tense moments were what we where going for! thanks for giving us another chance

Nono! its a common problem you did great!

Sorry! something to note is that you can refill your 02 Gauge by interacting with the canister, we didn't really make that clear, in my eyes you beat the game! thanks for taking the time out of your day to play it!

This is a wonderful romp through a wacky other world, its beatiful and does not overstay its welcome. When people say Video Game as an art form, this is what they mean, incredible work. I can't say its a horror game though, just a lovely game.

I liked it, I love the story that you have with that ending cut-scene, I actually jumped when an enemy leapt at me!
great work!

Great Fun! I love the visibility Mechanic

Ahhhh I'm sorry, we've seen this happen once or twice, don't really know why, I think its something to with fullscreen but im sorry about that!

take a look around the chambers, there might be a clue :)

Thank you all for coming to the Event, I hope you had a good time.
For the Winnietron submissions, we will be getting them on ASAP, but it still might need some work before its fully ready.

If My Bestie Nessie  and Apocalypse Duck  could make a Windows Executable and either put it on their itch page or send it to me via email, we can get them on the Winnetron as well.

See you next time!

nope we don’t charge a venue fee for this even in particular, and yes it is in-person only.

I agree! it would be cool although I still have to figure out all the set-up for the games and how to show them off

(1 edit)

No, you can participate from anywhere

What does that mean?

Well it can mean many things, It can mean games that look like they are from the Atari 2600, or the pixel art of maio, or even the low poly look of the early Ps1 or N64 games. You or your team has freedom to interpret the theme however they want! Be creative and make the theme your own!

I would heavily recommend against it, but I will say that you can use any pre-made assets that YOU created. we wanna see your creativity!
