I love the punny,  literal take on the theme.

When you put it that way, the roles are indeed reversed.

The UI needs to be improved on to indicate when I'm in player mode or still in builder mode. For example, one of the buttons could appear to stay pressed to indicate so.

Sometimes I forget I'm not really playing as the player and move in the wrong driection.

Died on my first try, but at least one of my zombies killed the last hunter.

To be fair, I wouldn't like to get farted on by people next to me either.

Thanks! You might not be aware of this, but you're controlling the rng of both the "player" and the enemy's attacks. You can read who's attacking from the text box on the bottom of the screen.

Is it just me, or is the game unable to accept at least 3 key inputs?

While working on Magical Girl TRPG, I've been designing characters for the protagonists. Here are my progress, thus far:

Sad that your submission went horribly wrong.

Attack of killer tomatoes: the prequel

I should have played the game with a mouse.

Simple, but effective.

Yes, except I'm reversing the roles with the AI, rather than the "bad guys" of the game.

I have made a few game prototypes, and I want to move forward based on which would be more interesting:

Medieval JRPG (title pending)

Link: Battle System by mechPenSketch (itch.io)

In this game, a party of ~4 band together to beat the demon lord. Throughout their journey, they interact with one another as well as the people around them.

The placeholder name is because I'm thinking of medieval times as the settings, probably with some anachronism.

Magical Girl TRPG (title pending)

The bad guys corrupt a person in a building. The victim transforms and warps the space within the location. It's up to the magical girl to defeat the core monster, free the person and purify the building!

Currently, the gameplay is in 2D board, but I'd want to make it isometric, like this: https://ko-fi.com/i/IS6S6KWEFO

The Poll

Which of the two would you like to be a full game? Vote here: https://strawpoll.com/polls/NoZr3eaRGy3

I will focus more on whichever is voted more.

I thought R stands for Reverse when it actually meant Repeat (3 times).

Thanks for the feedback. I'm aware of the first-player advantage, but don't know how to balance it by the time the jam ends :(

On hindsight, alternative which players go first could help. I could make it replayable, best of three.

It'll be great if the instructions are on the main page, if not in the game itself.

Hard to see how the starfish would move. Would appreciate a point of reference such as which diagonal she would move when you press up.

I like how you join two different gameplays together.

Some other entries that uses UnityGL are unable to load fully, so you are not alone on this.

In fact, I have messed up with my submission last year (which was my first entry), only uploading .exe when the whole package should be included.

Are you referring to the sticky trap that, once blue enters, it cannot move out?

f

There’s no indication on which particular area of the right side I can move onto the next level.

Hey-I recognize the dialog system!

Hope this become a full game afterwards.

Anyone here have a hard time controlling both players?

Would have been nice if I’ve been told how much it costs to lay down towers and connect them to the power-ups.

Hope you consider expanding this into a full game.

Once submitted, this cannot be changed until the end of the jam, so there is literally nothing the entrant can do to fix the loading issue. ...maybe unless it's done through a new project created.

Tempting to stay and play for the rest of the voting session.

I like how things went downhill as make more combinations, though I wish it had a bad ending after mixing wrong combination too many times.

For now, due to the download containing the wrong kinds of export and I cannot change my submission right now, those interested in playing my game can down the game here: https://mechpensketch.itch.io/climbing-tower-exe-export

I pressed the wrong export button. Now I'm contacting GMTK whether I can re-submit the correct version with exe.
