Really neat concept to switch between 2 modes like this. I enjoyed exploring and solving the puzzles.

It took me a minute to figure things out in the first level; however, once I got going it was super fun. The puzzles were great, and I love how you introduced 2 individual concepts concepts, then combined them in later puzzles.

Really impressive in the allotted time. The gameplay was fun, and the visuals were outstanding. Great job!

All 4 levels were pretty fun, and I loved the audio. I would have loved to see more puzzles that required pausing, because although it made some platforming easier, it did not feel necessary for most levels.

Really fun and immediately obvious to play. The final staircase was a nice challenge, and the game was fun enough to keep me trying until I got it.

The yellow screen does intend to communicate "game won". Unfortunately I ran out of time in the jam to add a proper win screen. It seems there's a bug where a single hit will count as multiple hits, so the game will think that you hit the ball all 3 times in 1-2 hits.

Thanks for the praise. I didn't have time to make a game over screen, so the yellow screen stand-in stuck around as a poor way to communicate game over

I loved how much the difficulty ramped up as the game progressed.  My mind was bent, but I was never frustrated and excitedly finished the game in a single sitting.  A beautiful game that was a ton of fun to play.

Thanks for the feedback, we worked hard to make the mechanics as intuitive as possible.  I think that mental-health idea was more clear in our heads than in the final product haha, but I'm glad you connect with that aspect of the game, it's definitely the aspect we're most passionate about.  We would have loved to add audio, but we didn't have the time, and our skills aren't well-developed in that area.

Thanks for playing, we had trouble finding the best way to teach each levels mechanics, so we kind of just didn't teach the mechanics 😅.  Glad you had fun

The game ran reeeaaally slow on my laptop, I don't have a gaming machine, but still surprised at how much my machine struggled.  A few things I found frustrating were the need to jump between blocks, rather than allowing me to walk between them, requiring me to go back to the menu each time I died (I died a lot 🙃), and as mentioned by a few other people, the lack of indication as to which blocks were real, leaving the game to mostly guessing and remembering which blocks were real.  Overall, this game is really unique, I've never played anything like it and the graphics are really nice.

Unfortunately after a few minutes playing, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do.  By looking around everywhere with the 2 flashlights, I made it out of the starting room, but couldn't figure out what to do beyond that.  I also wasn't clear at first that I had 2 flashlights and what they did.  Reading other comments, I might be the exception (maybe I missed something really obvious 😅); however, I definitely would have liked more hints or clear directions on what to do and how to progress.

Really enjoyed it, the first game I wanted to replay after I finished.  I didn't realize that it was a "spot the difference" game until after clicking a few items and losing some HP.  Being unprepared upped the challenge some, but it didn't feel like that was the intention (i.e. I think the challenge was supposed to come from the level of clutter), so I think some indication of what I was supposed to do in the first half would have been good.

Pretty fun to beat up the bully; although he barely attacked me, so I felt like the bully sometimes 😅.  Would have liked to have less distance between items / fights in the overworld, as walking around similar-looking landscapes felt unnecessary.

I definitely felt more and more in the theme as the game continued.  The combat got tedious very quickly.  Some indication of what my attacks were doing would have helped me have more fun by developing a strategy or at least feeling like my moves had an impact.

Loved the art and sound.  I really like memory puzzles, but by the end I think it felt a little more like homework than a game.

Really pleasant to play around in, the sound effects played a big part in that.  I found it frustrating to lose all my progress when the game seemed to have explicit moments where you had to take a risk and jump to somewhere that you couldn't yet see.
